System depth and Gwent

Behind the gorgeous visuals sits a solid RPG. There are three options in this listing — pick by what you want:

• Base version — the main game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt only, without the story expansions. A good fit if you want to play the core campaign first and add the expansions later.
• Complete Edition — the main game plus both expansions (Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine), all 16 free DLC and the Next-Gen update: built-in photo mode, alternate Netflix-inspired outfits and improved visuals. The fullest bundle.
• Game of the Year Edition (Commercial License) — the same full bundle with both expansions and all free DLC, just without the Next-Gen layer. Content-wise it equals the Complete Edition.

Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine

Hearts of Stone (released October 13, 2015) is a dark tale about Gaunter O'Dimm and the cursed Olgierd von Everec — as long and as polished as a small standalone game. Blood and Wine (May 31, 2016) is the huge region of Toussaint with its own story of knights, vampires and dark secrets, a new home for Geralt and one of the best send-offs in the whole series. Both expansions come with the Complete Edition and the Game of the Year Edition; the base version doesn't include them — if you specifically want the expansions, look to the full editions.

How we deliver the gift

Delivery goes through a Steam bot, and it's as simple as it gets. You provide your friend invite link and your account region, place the order — and the bot adds itself as your friend and sends the gift. You don't need to accept the incoming friend request manually: after delivery the bot removes itself automatically. All that's left is to accept the gift itself in the Steam client. The key condition — region and a clean library

Steam will only accept the gift if your account region matches the gift's region. Each option in the listing shows how many regions it covers — use that and pick the one for your account. The second requirement: you must not already own The Witcher 3 — Steam won't let a gift through for a game already in your library, and that's the most common cause of failures. Also check that friend requests are allowed in your profile settings, otherwise the bot can't reach you.

If something goes wrong

It's all fixable. If the bot couldn't add you, it's almost always a closed friend-request setting or an expired link: open your profile privacy and send a fresh invite link, and we'll retry. If you mixed up the region and Steam rejected the transfer, the order value returns to your Brawl Games balance, and from there you can immediately reorder with the correct region or take another item. If the game turned out to be in your library — same story, refunded to your balance. Your money doesn't vanish in these cases.

This is the PC (Windows) version on Steam. The game runs great on Steam Deck and is available via Proton on Linux, and thanks to responsive controls it's equally comfortable on a gamepad or with mouse and keyboard. Once you accept the gift, The Witcher 3 simply appears in your Steam library like any purchased game — with cloud saves and achievements. A Steam gift is an honest way to get the game straight onto your own account: you don't share a login or risk shared data.
