Dragon Tickets: the denomination has to match the bundle

The most important fact about a Dragon Ticket before your first order: it is not a floating in-game currency in the way Gems work in Rise of Kingdoms or Diamonds work in State of Survival. A Dragon Ticket is a face-value voucher issued by Farlight Games. A $1 ticket activates a $1 bundle and only a $1 bundle; a $5 ticket only a $5 bundle. Five $1 tickets do not add up to one $5 ticket — even though the total dollar value is identical. Open the in-game store first, check the exact price of the bundle you want (Growth Fund, Second Builder, Daily Deals, resource packs), then buy a ticket of the matching denomination.

Dragon Coins and one-tap compound bundles

Dragon Coins are the secondary face-value currency from Farlight Games. They cover smaller purchases and the so-called compound bundles, where an in-game pack stacks several tiers and a one-tap activation requires you to hold both Tickets and Coins at the same time. The catalogue lists Coin packs of x12, x24, x36, x60, x120 and x240. Three different things often get mixed up here, so it is worth keeping them apart: Gold is the soft in-game resource used on research and construction, Gems are the in-game premium currency for speed-ups, the Lucky Wheel and VIP, and Dragon Coins are an external face-value voucher that exists only in the top-up store, not on the world map.

Gems and the x2 first-purchase bonus per denomination

Gems are the in-game premium currency, bought through the Gem Market inside Call of Dragons. Every Gem pack denomination carries a one-off x2 bonus on the first purchase: the headline deal is the $99 pack, which delivers 50,000 Gems instead of 25,000. Unlike Genshin, the bonus does not refresh on anniversaries — once you claim it on a tier it is gone for that tier on that account, which is why mid- and high-spenders typically work through the $4.99, $19.99, $49.99 and $99.99 ladder one tier at a time to squeeze the doubler from each. Dragon Tickets themselves do not get a x2 multiplier: the doubling lives on the in-game bundle the Ticket activates, not on the Ticket.

Growth Fund, Second Builder and the early-game stack

Two one-time offers in the in-game store get recommended for any long-term run. Growth Fund ($9.99) pays out roughly 82,000 Gems in stages as your City Hall hits specific milestones — buy it early or late, the milestones you have already passed pay out retroactively. Second Builder ($4.99) unlocks a second build queue, which is the difference between cramped and comfortable city management. Both are bought with Dragon Tickets of the matching denomination — a $10 ticket (or a compound build) for Growth Fund, a $5 ticket for Second Builder.

Honorary Membership and the second research queue

Honorary Membership is the VIP system in Call of Dragons, and it works differently from a Welkin Moon-style subscription or a PS Plus tier. It runs on 15 levels that are unlocked by Gem investment, not by time. Each level grants daily rewards (Gems, hero tokens), buffs to research speed and stat boosts on troops. The milestone everyone aims for is Level 8, which costs roughly 75,300 Gems in total and opens the second research queue — a quality-of-life unlock most long-term players treat as required, alongside Second Builder. Honorary Membership is not the same as the Monthly Pack and the two stack on the same account.

Monthly Pack: 30 days, no auto-renewal

The Monthly Pack comes in two flavours — Basic and Advanced — and both can run on the same account at once because they are separate SKUs. The Basic Pack at around $3 delivers about 6,750 Gems, 15 gold keys, around 50 hours of speed-ups and 3,000 Command Points across 30 days. This is not an auto-renewing subscription: after 30 days the rewards stop and the pack has to be bought again. The seasonal arc runs Season 1 (closed by Firamar the Firedancer, the Red Dragon) through Season 1+, Season 2 with Proving Grounds and Dwarven Guardians, Season 2+ on the Tamaris map, and into Season 3/4. Each transition means a fresh map, dissolved alliances and new diplomacy. Servers (Kingdoms) are numbered and grouped into Divisions; cross-Kingdom migration via Server Teleport is possible but is usually locked during an active season.
