AFK Journey top-ups for subscriptions go through account login, and the only sign-in route is the Farlight Games account bound to the character. The one-time login code expires quickly, so for reliability we ask for the password instead โ€” you can rotate it after the order is delivered.

Before paying, verify that the credentials work on the official storefront at https://store.farlightgames.com/afkjourney/global. You should be able to sign in with the email and password and see the correct character on the right server in the top-up screen.
3
If you would rather not share even a one-time password (one you change right after delivery), leave the password field empty and wait for support in chat โ€” we will request the one-time login code at the right moment and sign in with that. Just keep an eye on the chat so the code does not expire before we use it.

FAQ

Buy Dragon Crystals for AFK Journey: Diamonds, Gazettes and Epic Invite Letters

AFK Journey is Lilith Games' open-world fantasy RPG, published globally under the Farlight Games label. The studio frames it as a spiritual successor to AFK Arena rather than a numbered sequel: the world of Esperia and the six-faction wheel are familiar, but the static stage maps are gone, replaced with an explorable world and a reworked combat layer. As of May 2026 the game runs on patch 1.6.3, released on 9 April, and a Steam version went live on 28 April 2026 linked to the same Farlight ID as the mobile and PC clients. Dragon Crystals are the premium currency that fuels Diamond bundles, Epic Invite Letter packs and the Welcome Packs available in the first two weeks of an account.

  • Buy Diamonds in the in-game Trolley shop through fixed bundles
  • Epic Invite Letters for the Epic Recruitment S-Level banner
  • Classic Gazette and Premium Gazette subscriptions, stackable up to 300 days
  • The Noble Path Battle Pass paid track (Secret Travelogue)
  • Welcome Packs and the one-off $1 starter offer in the first 14 days
  • Stargaze Bundles that convert into Stellar Crystals for Celestial and Hypogean heroes

Dragon Crystals and Diamonds are not the same currency

The first thing to understand about AFK Journey's economy is that Dragon Crystals and Diamonds are two distinct resources. Dragon Crystals are bought only with real money and spent in the Trolley shop on Diamond bundles, Epic Invite Letter packs, Welcome Packs, skins and limited offers. Diamonds are the soft currency, earned in volume from AFK stage progress, events, Dream Realm leaderboards and subscriptions; Diamonds are what you actually pull with on Rate Up Recruitment and All-Hero Recruitment, and what you spend in the Guild Store and the Emporium. The exchange between the two is fixed by Trolley bundles โ€” there is no floating rate and no reverse conversion. AFK Journey does not run a permanent first-purchase x2 doubler on every Crystal denomination the way HoYoverse titles do; the standout value sits in Welcome Packs and the $1 starter, both gated to early account days.

Six factions and Stargaze Station: why Celestial and Hypogean require Stellar Crystals

Heroes are sorted into six factions: Lightbearer, Mauler, Wilder, Graveborn, Celestial and Hypogean. The first four form a closed counter loop โ€” Lightbearer beats Mauler, Mauler beats Wilder, Wilder beats Graveborn, Graveborn beats Lightbearer. Celestial and Hypogean sit outside the wheel and act as neutrals that complete the five-faction synergy bonus alongside any of the four. The catch is that they cannot be pulled on regular banners. The only source is Stargaze Station, which uses Stellar Crystals. Stellar Crystals are not bought directly with Dragon Crystals โ€” they come from the Guild Store, from Dolly Ticket exchanges in the Recruitment Store (620 each, the first one at 310, capped at three per month) and from the Stargaze Bundle, where 1,120 Dragon Crystals translate into 20 Stellar. The chance of a Celestial or Hypogean hero on a Stargaze pull sits around 3.25%, so this is a long-term project, not a payday.

Resonating Hall: five heroes carry the rest of the roster

In Genshin Impact or Honkai: Star Rail, every new five-star starts at level 1 and needs its own pile of materials. AFK Journey breaks that contract through Resonating Hall. The top five heroes are designated Hands of Resonance, and the Resonance Level equals the lowest level among them. Every other hero on the account auto-scales to the Resonance Level โ€” when a new S-Level hero arrives from Epic Recruitment, it slots in close to combat-ready instead of grinding from scratch. Hands of Resonance themselves can sit at most 10 levels above the Resonance Level, which forces a real choice about where ascension materials go. The mechanic shifts what your Diamonds are buying: not raw character power one unit at a time, but breadth of viable team comps.

Gazettes and Noble Path: which subscription matches which goal

AFK Journey runs two parallel subscriptions with different payouts, plus a seasonal Battle Pass:

  • Classic Gazette (around $5) โ€” instant 3,000 Diamonds and 120 Mithril tokens, then 300 Diamonds per day for 30 days. About 12,000 Diamonds per cycle plus VIP points. The pick when you want a steady flow of soft currency for daily pulls.
  • Premium Gazette (around $15) โ€” instant 10 Epic Invite Letters and 450 Mithril tokens, then 2 Epic Invite Letters per day for 30 days. About 70 Epic Invite Letters per cycle. The pick when you are aiming straight at S-Level heroes on Epic Recruitment.
  • Noble Path โ€” the seasonal Battle Pass with a free Fun Travelogue track and a paid Secret Travelogue at around $9.99, plus a Legendary version around $19.99 that starts you 20 tiers ahead. The final premium tiers include an S-Level hero selector.

Both Gazettes stack up to 300 days, so multiple cycles can be queued in advance and they tick down sequentially. That is useful if you plan to step away from active play for a while but still want the Diamonds or Letters piling up in your in-game mail on schedule.

Epic Recruitment and the wishlist that limits your hard pity

The headline real-money banner is Epic Recruitment. You pull with Epic Invite Letters, hard pity on an S-Level lands at 30, and every 10 pulls a guaranteed A-Level drops. The mechanic that sets AFK Journey apart from Genshin or Honkai: Star Rail is the five-hero wishlist: the 30-pull S-Level guarantee will only roll a hero from your wishlist, which makes long-term planning around specific S-tier picks far more predictable than chasing a rotating featured character. Rate Up Recruitment runs the current A/S rate-up using Diamonds or Letters, and All-Hero Recruitment is the A-Level baseline. Pity on All-Hero and Rate Up starts at 10 and ramps to 30 for an S-Level, and it does not reset between banners of the same type.

Welcome Packs and Beginner's Story: why the first 14 days matter

The Beginner's Story bundles (also referred to as Welcome Packs) are one-time offers gated to roughly the first 14 days after a character is created. After that window they disappear permanently. They have the highest resource density per dollar in the game and typically include Dragon Crystals, Diamonds, Epic Invite Letters and ascension materials in tight ratios. The $1 starter pack with 10 Epic Invite Letters is similarly one-shot. If you already know you are going to spend, distributing purchases across that early window is more efficient than picking up packs mid-season.

Six endgame loops and where Diamonds matter in each

AFK Journey does not lean on a single tower. The endgame is split across six modes:

  • Dream Realm โ€” a daily boss-rush against four rotating bosses with a server-wide damage leaderboard and six difficulty tiers.
  • Trial of Abyss โ€” a long-term PvE descent that unlocks after 1,125 AFK stages and 18 days of server age.
  • Honor Duel โ€” drafted PvP where the roster is handed out from a mode-specific shop, so your account collection does not carry over.
  • Arcane Labyrinth โ€” a 160-floor roguelike across eight difficulty tiers, with Deep Labyrinth handling the ranked layer beyond floor 15.
  • Supreme Arena โ€” a best-of-three ranked PvP format using three teams with no shared heroes or artefacts between line-ups.
  • Wand Wars โ€” added in patch 1.6.3, a real-time 3v3 PvP with hero swapping. It is the first non-auto-battle mode AFK Journey has shipped.

Diamonds feed each loop differently โ€” sometimes as Stamina top-ups for retries, sometimes as the pull currency that broadens the roster you can field. Stamina, by the way, is its own resource for Dream Realm tries and farm stages and should not be confused with the 16-hour AFK cap that governs idle gold, EXP and Hero Essence.

Esperia as a real open world

Esperia in AFK Journey is built as an actual open world rather than the static stage select familiar from AFK Arena. Regions like Golden Wheatshire, Dark Forest, Vaduso Mountains and Cedartown in the Duchy of Whiteridge are designed for exploration: chest puzzles, hidden NPCs, teleporters, traversal vines and bridges, plus mist zones with elevated drop rates on hero ascension materials. The 1โ€“27 May 2026 collab event AFK Journey ร— Frieren: Beyond Journey's End is hosted in this layer too. Frieren and Himmel are handed out as Dimensional heroes through a 7-day login event (Himmel on day one, Frieren on day three), with a winter Frieren skin and a Cedartown event story attached. It is the third major IP collab on AFK Journey after Fairy Tail in May 2025 and Delicious in Dungeon in November 2025.

Servers, Player ID and how the top-up reaches the account

AFK Journey servers are not tied to geography โ€” players from different countries land on the same numbered server (a letter plus a number) and a new server opens automatically when the previous one fills up. There is no "correct" regional server to chase. Cross-server PvP is in place for Arena and the related ranked modes. The Player ID (Account ID) is the numeric identifier shown on the player profile inside the client, and it is what the top-up uses for delivery. Purchases settle through Farlight ID and carry across the Farlight launcher, the Steam client (live since 28 April 2026), iOS and Android.

How to place an AFK Journey top-up

  1. Open your profile in AFK Journey and copy your Player ID.
  2. Pick the pack you need โ€” Dragon Crystals, a Gazette or a Beginner's Story bundle.
  3. Enter the Player ID and the server number.
  4. Confirm the details on checkout and complete payment.
  5. Wait for delivery โ€” Dragon Crystals and the subscription land on the linked Farlight ID.

Related top-ups on Brawl Games

  • AFK Arena โ€” Lilith Games' direct predecessor with the same six-faction wheel of Esperia and the idle progress loop AFK Journey grew out of.
  • Honkai: Star Rail โ€” HoYoverse's turn-based RPG with Oneiric Shards, an active alternative once auto-battle starts to feel small.
  • Genshin Impact โ€” the open-world action-RPG to step into when Esperia exploration leaves you wanting a world without auto-battle.
  • Zenless Zone Zero โ€” HoYoverse's urban action gacha with a comparable wishlist layer on its S-rank banners and the same UID-style top-up flow.

The Brawl Games catalogue carries Dragon Crystal denominations from 20+1 up to 3000+150, both Gazettes, Beginner's Story bundles and stamina packs. Checkout needs the Player ID and the server number; payment is accepted from regions where the official store has limited card support. The on-site chat is available for questions about a specific pack or order status.
