The entire continent of Tamriel lives in one world: Skyrim, Morrowind, Vvardenfell, Cyrodiil, High Rock, Valenwood and dozens of other lands where you decide who to be and where to go. There are no rigid level rails here — you can chase the main story, dive into guilds, go fishing, steal like a true thief, brew potions, or storm 12-player trials with friends. Buying a key from us gets you a Steam activation code: enter it and the game lands in your library, tied to your account for good.

What the Standard Edition is and what it includes

The Standard Edition is the ESO base game. It opens up the core world of Tamriel: the starting zones of all three alliances, the main story arc, the guild systems (Mages, Fighters, Thieves, Dark Brotherhood), PvP in Cyrodiil, crafting, housing, dungeons and a huge amount of content that has piled up over the years. No subscription is required to play — ESO is buy-to-play: you buy the game once and play. ESO Plus (the paid membership that unlocks all DLC chapters plus perks) is a separate, optional thing and is not part of this key.

This is more than enough to get hooked: dozens of hours of story, any class to level up, and an open world with no forced linearity. If you later want this year's fresh adventures, those come via the separate 2025 Content Pass below.

2025 Content Pass — this year's fresh content

The 2025 Content Pass is a seasonal add-on that brings 2025's event content into the game. It includes:

  • Seasons of the Worm Cult, Parts 1 and 2 — a two-act storyline about the Worm Cult plus a brand-new zone to explore.
  • The Fallen Banners and Feast of Shadows dungeon DLCs — two dungeon packs, four new dungeons in total with bosses and rewards.
  • The Writhing Wall event — the pass's in-game event.
  • A new 12-player trial, new delves and public dungeons, plus standalone quests and characters.
  • Cosmetics: the Skulltooth Coastal Durzog mount and the Golden Eagle pet.

🔴 Important: the 2025 Content Pass is an add-on, not a standalone game. It needs the ESO base game on the same account. Once activated, the content is yours permanently. This pass is NOT included with an ESO Plus membership — it's a separate purchase.

Key regions: what to watch for

The Standard Edition comes in a few regional key versions, and this is the most important thing when choosing:

  • GLOBAL — a global key that activates on Steam in almost any region.
  • CIS — a key for the CIS region. It activates on a Steam account registered in CIS countries; a "western" Steam account may reject it. If your Steam is set to Russia and neighbouring countries, this is your version and usually the best value.
  • LATAM — the Latin America version. It fits an account from that region; on a CIS/EU account it may not activate cleanly.

Pick the key that matches your Steam account region. The 2025 Content Pass is GLOBAL, so it activates without regional fuss.

How to activate the key on Steam

It all takes a minute inside the Steam client itself:

  • Open Steam → bottom-left "Games" → "Activate a Product on Steam".
  • Accept the agreement and enter your activation code.
  • The game/add-on appears in your library, ready to download and play.

The code arrives after checkout — usually quickly. Activation binds the product to your Steam account permanently.
