Sniper Elite 4: a sniper, 1943 Italy and a bullet you see from the inside
Sniper Elite 4 is a tactical sniper stealth-action game from UK studio Rebellion, released on 14 February 2017. It drops you into occupied Italy in 1943: you play OSS agent Karl Fairburne, dismantling the Nazi war machine across huge open levels. This isn't a corridor shooter — each location is a small sandbox where you choose your own route, your firing positions and the order in which you take your targets down.
The series' signature feature is the X-Ray Kill Cam. After a perfect long-range shot, the game slows down to show the bullet travelling to its target and tearing through bone, muscle and organs. In the fourth game the cam isn't limited to firearms — it also triggers on melee, grenades and explosives. It's both spectacular and informative: you literally see why the shot worked.
What's inside: campaign, ballistics and freedom of approach
The heart of Sniper Elite 4 is its ballistics. On higher difficulties the bullet obeys gravity, wind and distance: you have to lead the shot, account for bullet drop and hold your breath to land a hit on a target hundreds of metres away. Sound matters too — a roaring generator, a passing plane or a thunderclap masks your shot, so enemies can't pinpoint where it came from. Stealth is systemic here: you can hide bodies, set tripwires and mines, booby-trap corpses and lay traps for patrols.
The campaign spans eight large missions with dozens of targets, optional objectives and hidden stashes. Play it like a ghost without raising an alarm, or turn the level into loud chaos with firefights and explosions. There's two-player co-op in the story plus separate co-op modes (such as Survival and Overwatch), as well as competitive multiplayer for up to 12 players using the same ballistics rules.
Standard vs Deluxe Edition: which to pick
Our catalogue has two versions of Sniper Elite 4, and both include the full game:
- Standard — the complete game: the whole Italian campaign, co-op and multiplayer. That's enough to finish the main story and sink dozens of hours into it.
- Deluxe Edition — the same game plus the Season Pass with all add-ons. The Season Pass includes the standalone “Target: Führer” mission (hunt down and eliminate Hitler himself), the three-part Deathstorm story campaign, new rifles and pistols, extra playable characters for co-op and multiplayer, and a set of camo weapon skins. With Deluxe you don't need to buy DLC separately.
If you're new to the series, Standard is plenty. If you want all the content up front and no return trips to the store, the Deluxe Edition makes more sense.
How you receive the game: a Steam gift via bot
Sniper Elite 4 is delivered as a Steam Gift, not a key. The flow is simple: you provide your Steam friend invite link and your account region, place the order, and our bot adds itself as your friend and sends the gift — usually within a couple of minutes. You don't need to accept the friend request: the bot handles everything and automatically removes itself from your friend list after delivery. Steam Guard isn't required to receive the gift.
Two conditions, without which Steam won't let you accept the gift: your Steam account region must match the gift region, and the account must not already own Sniper Elite 4. Your profile privacy settings must also allow friend requests — otherwise the bot simply can't reach you.
Common questions before buying
The game is localised in Russian (text and subtitles) alongside English, so there's no language barrier, and the language doesn't depend on the gift region. If the bot didn't add you, it's almost always a private profile or an expired invite link: enable friend requests and send a fresh link, and we'll retry. Glitches in services like this are rare, and we do our best to sort them out quickly.
