Smalland: Survive the Wilds β co-op survival at bug size
Imagine the whole world around you suddenly became hundreds of times bigger. A blade of grass is a tree, a puddle is a lake, and an ordinary spider turns into a house-sized monster. That's exactly what Smalland: Survive the Wilds looks like β a survival adventure from Merge Games where you've been shrunk to insect size and left to survive in a huge wild forest. Here you gather resources from leaves and twigs, tame bugs instead of horses, and build a shelter high up in the treetops, away from hungry predators.
Buying from us, you get the game as a Steam GIFT β no keys or activation codes. The FZR sender bot adds you as a friend, sends Smalland as a gift straight to your Steam library, and the game stays yours forever, like any purchase.
What the game is and why it hooks you
Smalland is a blend of survival, exploration and light RPG. After a long early access, it launched in full release on February 15, 2024, and version 1.0 brought a complete map, biomes with changing seasons, a progression system and a guardian storyline. The main draw is scale: you literally see the familiar world through an ant's eyes, so even a trip for water becomes an expedition.
- Taming creatures. Grasshoppers, damselflies, spiders and others become your transport and combat pets β you can ride, fly and fight on them.
- Building. You can raise a base right on a tree branch: from simple leaf huts to fortified structures. Height is your defense against ground predators.
- Crafting and armor. From gathered materials you forge weapons and armor sets with special properties for different threats.
- Seasons and weather. The world runs on its own cycles: changing seasons alter available resources and dangers, and you must prepare for winter ahead of time.
Solo or co-op for up to 10 players
Smalland is just as good solo or in a group. The game supports co-op for up to 10 players on one server: building a huge base together, splitting roles (one farms, one hunts, one defends), taming rare creatures and taking down bosses is far more fun. Each participant needs their own copy of the game β this gift gives you exactly one.
What's in the gift
You get the full base Smalland: Survive the Wilds in the 1.0 release edition β with all the content of the main game. It's a single item, no cut-down versions or mandatory extra payments to start playing. A separate soundtrack is distributed as a standalone DLC and is not included in this gift β but you don't need it for the full game.
How the gift arrives
No keys to enter. After payment the FZR sender bot will add you as a Steam friend, send Smalland as a gift and then unfriend you β you won't have to manually confirm any trades or requests, you just accept the gift in your library and download the game. We never log into your account, so there's no need to turn Steam Guard on or off. Two conditions for successful delivery: Smalland must not already be in your library (you can't gift a game someone already owns) and your account region must match the gift region. The gift usually arrives within a couple of minutes.
Gift region
Since this is a Steam gift, region matters: the gift will only apply if your account region matches the gift region. Check your Steam region before buying, and if you're unsure, ask us in advance before paying.
Threats, progression and the rhythm of play
Danger in Smalland comes from every side, and that's half the fun. Mantises, wasps, centipedes and spiders react to you differently: some are best avoided, others lured out and killed for valuable materials. Over time you unlock new recipes, upgrade your gear and climb into more remote and hostile biomes you couldn't even approach at the start. Night, rain and the changing seasons add tension: food stocks, torches and solid armor stop being trivial and become a matter of survival. This loop of "scout β gather β upgrade β push on" is what keeps you at the screen.
System notes and Steam Deck
Smalland is a game for PC on Windows. On Steam Deck it runs through the Proton compatibility layer; the compatibility status is updated by the developer from time to time, so before a long session on a handheld it's worth checking the current mark on the game's Steam page.
