Rogue Heroes: Ruins of Tasos β a Steam gift for a Zelda-style co-op adventure
Tasos Island is under threat again: ancient Titans are awakening, and four cursed dungeons await the brave. Rogue Heroes: Ruins of Tasos is a love letter to the classic top-down The Legend of Zelda, but with a pinch of roguelite and, crucially, full four-player co-op. Here you get the game as a Steam GIFT: you place the order, and our bot sends it straight to your Steam library β forever, like a normal purchase.
What the game is
Developer Heliocentric Studios and publisher Team17 released Rogue Heroes on February 23, 2021. The genre is action-adventure with roguelite elements: dungeons are procedurally generated, but without permadeath. Die, and you return to the town of Intervale, spend collected crystals on leveling your hero and developing the town itself, then push on stronger. This keeps progress smooth: every trip into the ruins brings you closer to beating the Titans, even if a particular run ended badly.
At the start you pick one of the hero classes β from the straightforward Knight to the Mage, Ranger or thieving Rogue, each with its own combat style and skill set. The town can be rebuilt: a forge, a sorcerer's guild, a farm β upgrades unlock new weapons, spells and permanent bonuses for the whole team.
Co-op β what many buy it for
The signature feature of Rogue Heroes is co-op for up to four players. Where most Zelda-likes leave you alone, here you can clear dungeons with friends: solve puzzles with four heads, cover each other in boss fights and split loot to upgrade the shared town. Both online and local play are supported β putting together an evening of co-op adventures is easier than it seems. Each participant needs their own copy of the game.
What's in the gift
- π The full base version of Rogue Heroes: Ruins of Tasos for PC (Windows).
- The game lands in your Steam library to own β no subscriptions or rentals.
- There is also a Deluxe Edition with extra content β pick the option you want above the description.
The standard lot is a complete game; nothing extra needs to be bought to play through it.
Dungeons, classes and progression
Tasos Island has four large dungeons, each with its own theme, enemies and Titan boss. Inside, rooms are assembled procedurally from prebuilt chunks, so the layout is new each time but never turns into incoherent mush. You search for keys, solve block puzzles, press levers, find chests with crystals and runes for upgrades. Six hero classes play differently: the Knight tanks in melee, the Mage burns crowds at range, the Ranger snipes down corridors, and the Rogue bets on speed and stealth. As the town upgrades, new abilities open up and the same run can play out completely differently.
The town of Intervale β your base
Between runs everything revolves around the town of Intervale. With the crystals you gather you build and improve buildings: the forge gives new weapons and armor, the mages' guild gives spells, the farm and shops give consumables and permanent bonuses. Progress is shared, so in co-op one player's investment helps the whole team. This is the classic "just one more run" hook: even after a failure you carry out resources and grow a little stronger.
How the gift arrives
No keys or codes. After payment the FZR sender bot will add you as a Steam friend, send Rogue Heroes as a gift and then unfriend you β you won't have to manually confirm trades or requests, you just accept the gift in your library. We never log into your account, so there's no need to turn Steam Guard on or off. Delivery conditions: your chosen Rogue Heroes edition must not already be in your library, and your Steam account region must match the gift region. The gift usually arrives within a couple of minutes, and you can call your friends to co-op right away.
Will it run on Steam Deck and a weak PC
The game is pixel-art and undemanding β it runs without issues on a modern or even fairly modest PC. Many play it on Steam Deck on the go: the format of short dungeon runs suits a handheld well. This is the Steam PC version; the game also released on Nintendo Switch, but that's a separate platform and doesn't apply here. Since this is a gift, match your account region with the gift region before buying.
If you love the genre
If you enjoy Rogue Heroes, check out other cozy adventures and roguelikes from the same publisher Team17: Moonlighter with its double life of merchant and hero, the grim metroidvania Blasphemous, and the kitchen co-op chaos of Overcooked 2 if it's the co-op mode that grabbed you.
The short version
You get the full game as a Steam GIFT via our bot β no keys, no account login, usually within a couple of minutes. Rogue Heroes: Ruins of Tasos stays in your library forever. Perfect for gathering a group and clearing the ruins of Tasos together.
