Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous — a crusade against the Worldwound
Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is a large isometric role-playing game by Owlcat Games built on the Pathfinder tabletop ruleset. It takes place in Golarion, at the edge of the Worldwound — a rift that pours the demons of the Abyss into the world. You take command of the Fifth Crusade, and your choices decide not only the outcome of the war but what your commander becomes: a mortal hero or something far greater. The game launched on PC on September 2, 2021, and over years of support grew a family of editions and expansions — on this page you grab it as a Steam gift.
Ten mythic paths and genuine freedom of choice
The standout feature is the mythic paths. As the campaign unfolds your commander gains mythic power and can follow one of ten paths: become an Angel, Demon, Lich, Aeon, Trickster, Azata, Eldritch Knight, Dragon, Legend or even the Swarm-That-Walks. This isn't cosmetic: the path reshapes dialogue, available abilities, companion reactions, whole story branches and the ending. A Lich raises undead armies, an Angel leads the crusade with light, a Trickster bends the world's logic into absurdity — and every playthrough feels like its own story.
Combat: real-time or turn-based — whatever suits you
The combat is built on Pathfinder rules with classes, archetypes, spells and intricate builds. You can fight two ways: real-time with active pause (fast for routine skirmishes) or full turn-based mode (for hard fights where every action counts). You can switch modes mid-battle. With 25 classes and dozens of archetypes, assembling a dream party is a treat in itself for anyone who loves digging into systems.
What the Enhanced Edition is
The Enhanced Edition is a major update that shipped alongside the console release. It added full controller support, a photo mode, extended companion epilogues, reworked late-game mythic paths, inventory search and a heap of quality-of-life improvements. On PC this update is free for everyone who owns the game, so Standard and Enhanced Edition effectively give the same current version — the only difference is the package name. Premium expansions are not included in these editions.
Game of the Year Edition: everything at once
If you want the maximum amount of content, that's the Game of the Year Edition. It includes the game itself and all six premium expansions:
- Inevitable Excess — a post-finale adventure about the limits of mythic power;
- Through the Ashes — the catastrophe seen through the eyes of ordinary townsfolk;
- The Treasure of the Midnight Isles — a replayable roguelike-style raid across the Abyssal isles;
- A Dance of Masks — a continuation of the companions' story after the main campaign;
- The Last Sarkorians — a new companion and a quest line about Sarkoris's fate;
- The Lord of Nothing — a detective mystery set in Kenabres.
On top of that the edition bundles four free packs (A Visitor from Distant Lands, Faces of War, Love Beyond Death, Paint of War) and the Commander Pack. The Game of the Year Edition arrived in late 2024 alongside the game's final update and became the most complete way to experience everything the crusade offers.
How we deliver the game
This is a Steam gift. You provide a friend invite link and your account region, place the order — and our bot takes over: it adds itself to your friends, sends the gift (usually within a couple of minutes) and removes itself once delivery is done. You don't need to accept the friend request manually, and Steam Guard isn't required either. All that's left is to accept the gift and the game lands in your library.
Important about region and library
Steam ties gifts to a region, so your Steam account region must match the region of the variant you pick — otherwise the system won't let you accept the gift. The second hard requirement: the receiving account must not already own this game, or Steam will refuse the gift. Choose the variant for your region and check your library before ordering.
