Pathfinder: Kingmaker — Enhanced Plus Edition: the complete RPG with all DLCs
Pathfinder: Kingmaker is a large isometric RPG by Owlcat Games, originally released in 2018. It's built on Paizo's Pathfinder tabletop ruleset and adapts one of the setting's best-known campaigns, “Kingmaker”. You create a hero, gather a party, explore the wild Stolen Lands and gradually become their ruler: you found a barony, build up your capital, fend off raids and make choices that shape the fate of the whole region. It's a game for players who love deep rules, tactical combat and a story where decisions actually matter.

What's inside the Enhanced Plus Edition
The Enhanced Plus Edition is the full game plus all three story DLCs and the major 2019 patch. The bundle includes:
- The full Pathfinder: Kingmaker game — no separate base purchase needed.
- The Wildcards — a new playable race (tieflings) and the Kineticist class, plus an extra companion.
- Varnhold's Lot — a standalone story side-campaign with its own party, woven into the main plot.
- Beneath the Stolen Lands — the procedurally generated endless dungeon mode “Tenebrous Depths”, playable as a separate challenge or built into the main campaign.
The “Enhanced” in the name refers to the big update from June 6, 2019: reworked balance, a new class, dozens of quality-of-life fixes, and interface and stability improvements. So the Plus version is the full game, all add-ons and all improvements at once. You don't need to buy anything on top.
What kind of game it is
Combat is real-time with pause (RTwP): you can freeze time at any moment, issue orders to your party and resume. The character system is faithfully ported from the Pathfinder tabletop — dozens of classes, archetypes, skills and spells, so there's huge room for build experimentation. Alongside the adventure you run your own kingdom: appoint advisors, resolve events, develop your lands. The campaign is long — a full playthrough easily runs past a hundred hours.
How we deliver the gift
Delivery goes through a Steam bot. We need two things from you: the friend invite link of your Steam profile and your account region. Everything else is automatic: the bot adds itself as a friend, sends the gift, and leaves your friends list once delivery is done. You don't have to accept the friend request manually. Delivery usually takes a couple of minutes from when the order is placed.
For Steam to accept the gift, two conditions matter: your account region must match the gift region, and you must not already own this game (Steam won't let you accept a gift for a game you already have). Steam Guard is not required — it's enough that your profile settings allow incoming friend requests.
The kingdom as a game within the game
The barony management deserves special mention. It's not cosmetic: your realm has its own stats, advisors with their own agendas, timed events and threats you have to handle while you're not out adventuring. Neglect it and the kingdom can literally fall, ending your campaign early. That's why Kingmaker feels like two games in one: a classic party-based adventure and a light land-development strategy layer. Many players love it precisely for that combination, though newcomers may want to tune the management difficulty up front — it's right there in the options.
Who it's for
If you love classic RPGs that lean on rules, tactics and the consequences of your choices, Kingmaker is one of the richest examples of the genre. If you'd rather try the next generation of CRPGs from the same studio, look at Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous — the direct successor with its mythic paths. You don't need to buy the base game separately — the Plus edition already includes everything. Steam Guard isn't required.
