Forza Horizon 5 plays great solo, but truly opens up online. You form convoys with friends and roam the world together, join co-op Horizon Tour events, compete in PvP modes and weekly series. A world of its own is EventLab, a builder for tracks and rules where players create wild challenges and share them. Crossplay is supported, so you can invite friends from different platforms.

Editions: Standard, Deluxe and Premium

Let's be honest, because here the difference is not cosmetic but about content.

  • Standard — the base game: the entire open world of Mexico, core cars and activities. A great entry if you don't need expansions right away.
  • Deluxe — base game plus the Car Pass: dozens of extra cars that unlock on a schedule.
  • Premium — the fullest option: the Car Pass, Welcome Pack (starter cars and bonuses), VIP status (doubled portion of rewards and exclusives) and both story expansions — Hot Wheels and Rally Adventure.

If you want it all at once with no add-ons later, grab Premium; if only the base matters, Standard; Deluxe is the middle ground for extra cars.

The Hot Wheels and Rally Adventure expansions

Two big expansions noticeably widen the game. Hot Wheels (2022) takes you to floating orange tracks in the sky with loops, boosters and dead drops — a separate arcade campaign on a flying island. Rally Adventure (2023) is the Sierra Nueva rally region with mud, gravel and dedicated rally cars. Both are part of Premium, and can be bought separately for Standard and Deluxe.

Russian and other languages

Localisation is solid: the interface and subtitles are translated into Russian, and menus, prompts and dialogue read without issues. There is no Russian voice-over — the festival hosts speak other languages — but all the text is in Russian.
