Campaign and modes
Beyond multiplayer, Battlefield 4 has a single-player campaign following the Tombstone squad against the backdrop of a conflict between the US, Russia and China — complete with the series' set-piece scripting and a choice at the finale. But the heart of the game is its online modes: Conquest on huge maps, the tense Rush, team deathmatch, and with the expansions you also get themed modes like Carrier Assault from Naval Strike.
