If you spent hours dialing in your attack angle in the first game or cruised the city in CarX Street, the second game pushes drifting to a real championship level: judging by angle, speed and line, tandem battles and ranked duels against live opponents. What the game is and why it hooks you
The heart of CarX Drift Racing Online 2 is the signature CarX slide physics the series is loved for. The tracks are laser-scanned from real circuits: Japan's Ebisu Circuit and Fuji Speedway, Germany's Nürburgring Nordschleife, the USA's Dominion Raceway and Russia's ADM Raceway. There's a car market to buy and sell, plus deep tuning and customization to build a machine around your own drift style.
What the gift includes
You get the full base CarX Drift Racing Online 2 game: career mode (first iteration), unlimited freeride in solo and online across six locations, tandem training, ranked duels, the car market and the tuning system. There are no separate Deluxe/Gold editions right now — this is one complete copy of the game that lands in your Steam library as owned.
Early Access: the honest part before you buy
CarX Drift Racing Online 2 launched into Steam Early Access on 7 May 2026. That means the game is still in development: the team adds new cars, tracks and modes and expands device support based on player feedback. One important note: CarX Technologies explicitly warns that the player profile will be wiped before the game leaves Early Access (a progress reset). The game itself stays yours forever. Go in knowing it: you're joining a project mid-development, not a finished release.
