What kind of game it is and why it's so addictive
WorldBox started as a mobile sandbox and grew into a cult god-game with pixel graphics and an almost meditative flow. The magic is in the details: every little person lives its own life, nations have their own diplomacy, races fight and mix, while plagues and disasters reshape history without your input. You can spend hours just watching the world as a detached god — or step in actively: bless your favourite nation, smite their enemies, spawn new creatures. It's a builder and an observation game at once, which is exactly why it's so easy to sink hundreds of hours into it.

In practice this isn't an "unfinished" build but a living game you can fully enjoy right now — it just keeps getting richer over time. If you like projects that grow together with their community, Early Access here is more of a plus.
Where to play: Windows, Mac, Linux and Steam Deck
WorldBox has builds for Windows, macOS and Linux/SteamOS, and thanks to its light system requirements it runs great on the Steam Deck and modest laptops. The gift is tied to your Steam account, so after activation you can launch the game on any supported system and sync progress through Steam.
How we deliver the gift
We send WorldBox as a Steam Gift through a bot. We only need two things from you: your Steam friend invite link and your account region. The bot then adds itself as your friend, sends the gift (usually within a couple of minutes) and automatically removes itself after delivery — you don't need to accept the request manually. Steam Guard is not required for this.
Important conditions before you buy
For delivery to go smoothly, keep two Steam rules in mind. First, your account region must match the gift region — otherwise Steam simply won't let you accept the gift. Second, you must not already own the game: a gift can't be accepted for a game that's already in your library, which is the most common reason a delivery fails. Your profile also needs friend requests enabled so the bot can find you.
