Voidling Bound โ a sci-fi shooter about evolving space creatures, as a Steam gift
You play a Space Wrangler who catches, breeds and upgrades creatures called Voidlings to cleanse infested planets from corruption. It's a third-person shooter fused with monster-taming: you don't just shoot, you grow your own battle creature, push it down branching evolution paths, breed it and tune it into the perfect build for your playstyle. Here we sell Voidling Bound as a Steam gift โ the game lands straight in your Steam library, with no key to redeem.
What this game is
Voidling Bound is made by Hatchery Games โ the same team behind the evolution roguelite Everything is Crab. It launched on June 9, 2026 and landed well with players: a Very Positive rating, around 94% of reviews positive. In terms of genre it blends action, adventure and RPG: fast combat, exploration of handcrafted planets, and a deep creature-breeding system.
The core idea is the Voidlings. You take direct control of a creature: shoot, slash, slam in melee, evade, block and parry incoming attacks. As you level up you assign attribute points (strength, vitality, essence, recuperation, agility) and literally shape the build you want โ a tanky bruiser or a fast, dodgy glass-cannon creature.
Evolution, genes and breeding
The heart of Voidling Bound isn't loot โ it's selection. You discover new Voidlings by rescuing and hatching eggs from infested locations. Creatures can roll rare natures that boost specific stats, and breeding lets you combine the natures and attributes of the parents to create an even stronger companion. Add gene editing and branching evolution paths on top, and every creature becomes a unique build you raised yourself.
- ๐ฅ Hatch eggs from infested hotspots and collect new creatures.
- ๐งฌ Evolve along branching paths, edit genes and unlock new forms.
- ๐ฌ Gather resources, research points and mutagens as you cleanse planets.
- โ๏ธ Level up attributes and craft a build around your combat style.
What you actually do
You cleanse vibrant, handcrafted planets from corruption: run missions, dive into tough arenas for rewards, and farm resources and research. Enemies range from swarming small creatures to bulky pestilent bosses. Progress runs on two tracks at once: you grow stronger as a wrangler while your brood of creatures gets stronger too. If "raise the perfect monster, then test it in a fight" sounds like your thing, this is your game.
What's included in this product
You're buying the Standard edition of Voidling Bound (the base game) delivered as a Steam gift. It's the full game for PC (Windows 10/11). The Digital Artbook and Soundtrack are separate Steam add-ons and are NOT part of this listing. After delivery the game stays on your account forever, just like any normal Steam purchase: you launch it from your library, it updates and keeps your saves as usual. No subscription, no temporary access โ you own the game.
How we deliver the gift
Delivery goes through a friend-bot on Steam. You provide a friend invite link and your Steam account region, then our bot adds itself, sends the gift, and leaves your friends list after delivery โ you don't need to accept anything by hand. Steam Guard is not required, and the game must NOT already be in your library, otherwise Steam won't let you accept the gift. It usually goes through within a couple of minutes after checkout, but we don't promise a strict timing โ it can vary.
About the gift region
This is a regional gift: it's accepted on Steam accounts from a specific set of countries. The one rule that matters for gifts is simple โ your Steam account region must match the gift region. If it doesn't, Steam won't accept the gift. So enter your real account country at checkout, and if you're unsure, message us before paying.
