Buy UNO โ a Steam gift for loud evenings with friends
What you get and why it is a gift
UNO on Steam is the official digital version of the very card classic everyone played as a kid, now with online play and friends worldwide. It was developed by Ubisoft Chengdu under Ubisoft as publisher and released in 2016. We sell the game as a Steam gift: you pick a lot, our bot sends UNO straight to your account, and it is added to your library like any purchased game. The gift format is convenient because you do not need a separate key โ everything happens inside Steam.
UNO's journey from the bot to your library
The scheme is simple and familiar to anyone who has ever added a friend on Steam. Open the client, go to the Friends section, click "Add a Friend" and add our bot via the invite link. The bot sends you UNO as a gift, and you accept it in the pop-up window. After confirmation the game lands in your library ready to install. You do not have to keep Steam Guard on to accept the gift and โ importantly โ we never request access to your account, your login or your password.
The lot's currency tells you the UNO region
Steam gifts have a regional logic worth understanding upfront. The gift's region is visible by the price currency on the card: a ruble lot is meant for the CIS region, a lot in another currency for the matching region. Always choose the lot that matches your Steam account's region. This is not nitpicking but a way to avoid a situation where the gift simply will not be accepted. If you do not have an account for the right region, a Steam gift card will help โ it makes topping up your wallet in the correct currency easier.
The classic rules everyone knows
The essence of UNO has not changed for decades: discard cards that match the top of the pile by color or number, and be the first to get rid of your whole hand. The deck has special cards that wreck other people's plans โ Skip kicks an opponent out of the queue, Reverse flips the direction of play, Draw Two forces the next player to pick up cards, and wild cards let you switch the color to suit yourself. The fearsome Wild Draw Four stands apart: it both changes the color and dumps four penalty cards on an opponent. When you have one card left you must shout "UNO!" in time or catch a penalty and pick up a fresh hand. The digital version enforces the rules, turn order and scoring itself, so arguments about who shorted whom on cards and whose turn it is are gone for good โ pure thrill remains.
Modes: everyone for themselves and team 2v2
The game has two main formats. Standard Play is the usual four-player match where everyone is on their own. The 2v2 mode pairs you with a partner: you play as a team, and the tactics shift โ you can set up your ally and gang up on a common rival. Both modes work with friends and with bots if no live company is around, so you will not be bored on a group night or in a solo run.
House rules change every match
A special joy of UNO is the set of house rules you can toggle and combine to match the mood of your group. Stacking lets you pile penalty cards in response and pass the hit to the next player, 7-0 swaps hands around when a seven or zero is played, Jump-In allows cutting in out of turn if you hold the exact same card, while Force Play, No Bluffing and Draw to Match twist the dynamic in their own ways โ forcing you to play a drawn card, banning bluffs on the Wild Draw Four, or making you draw until you match. Build your own set โ and the familiar game gains new colors, matches become unpredictable, and habitual tactics have to be reinvented on the fly.
Themed decks and DLC
Besides the classic deck, themed sets were released for UNO: they bring new visuals, sounds and sometimes special rules. Such themes are sold as separate DLC โ individually or bundled in the Ultimate Edition. Our gift unlocks the base game with all standard features; you can buy the themes separately inside Steam whenever you fancy freshening up the look.
Where else UNO lives
For context: digital UNO launched on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in August 2016, then reached Steam and Nintendo Switch, and the Ubisoft version later appeared on Xbox Series, PS5, Stadia and Luna. You are getting the PC version for Steam โ the one convenient to run with friends on a computer and to play with a gamepad or mouse as you prefer.
When the gift will not be accepted and what then
There are two cases when Steam will refuse the gift: if the lot's region does not match your account's region, and if UNO is already in your library. Neither is scary โ the funds return to your balance in the shop and you spend them on the right lot or another game. So before buying, two checks are enough: verify the region by currency and see whether UNO is already in your games list.
Why the gift format is convenient
A Steam gift differs from a key in that you do not have to activate anything by hand or enter long codes. The game arrives already tied to your account through friending the bot, and that removes a whole class of questions: no need to worry that a code was pasted in the wrong place or to hunt for the activation window. Just accept the gift in the client โ and UNO is yours. For a card game for the evening this is especially pleasant: if you feel like gathering the crew today, you place the lot, accept the gift, invite friends to a lobby, and there you are already throwing Wild Draw Fours at each other.
UNO for your crew: a purchase in a couple of steps
UNO is a perfect pick for easy get-togethers, family evenings and quick online matches with friends: the rules are clear in a minute, and the thrill lasts. Buying from us goes without mandatory registration, payment is in a convenient currency, and if a promo is running the code goes into the field on the payment page. Usually the bot sends the gift quickly, as a rule within a couple of minutes after payment and friending; if a queue forms, we try to sort it out promptly. Grab the lot for your region โ and call the crew for a match.
