Undisputed — the boxing sim that punishes mistakes

Undisputed by UK studio Steel City Interactive (published by Deep Silver) is the most meticulous attempt to bring real boxing into a video game in years. After a long early access period that began on 31 January 2023, the game hit its full 1.0 release in October 2024. There are no arcade combo buttons here: every punch, step and slip matters, and stamina and footwork decide a fight more than raw power.

What makes Undisputed special

The big draw is the licensing. The roster features over 60 real boxers, from past legends to current champions, plus a dedicated women's division. The game includes genuine boxing organisations such as the WBC, real equipment and brands, CompuBox-style stats and a commentary team pulled from the industry. These aren't nameless fighters — you box with recognisable names in recognisable rings.

What's included

You get the full base game of Undisputed — with all the boxers, modes and career of the base version. It's a standalone game, not an add-on: nothing needs to be owned beforehand. Expanded editions do exist (for example the Championship Edition with a set of DLC fighters), but this particular listing is the base version as a self-contained product.

How we deliver the gift

Delivery runs through a Steam bot. We need two things from you: your Steam friend invite link and your account region. After that it's automatic:

Why the boxing feels believable

Undisputed is built around one idea: boxing is chess on your feet. Distance, timing and breathing matter more than the urge to overwhelm your opponent. Punches punish you for leaving openings, stamina drains from absorbed combinations, and by the late rounds a fighter visibly fades — moving slower, losing accuracy. Body shots are a long game: invest in the liver in round three and your opponent crumbles in round seven. Clinches, slips, counters on the back foot — these are tools, not decorative animations. Because of that, even a fight against the AI feels like a real bout where you read your opponent rather than memorise combos.

Career and customisation

In career mode you create your own boxer and take them from amateur tournaments to title fights, developing their style, physique and reputation. You can build a knockout artist, a high-tempo pressure fighter or a technical outboxer — your training and fight tactics adapt to the style you pick. Beyond career there are quick fights with real boxers, online play and weight-class divisions, including the women's division. So once the gift is installed you'll have plenty to do for a long time — from sparring a legend to building your own championship story.

Launch and performance on PC

This is the PC version for Steam, playable with mouse and keyboard or a controller — boxing feels more natural on a gamepad. The game runs decently on Steam Deck and generally isn't the most demanding title, but as with any modern game your comfort depends on your hardware and graphics settings. Once you accept the gift, Undisputed simply appears in your Steam library — updates and cloud saves work exactly like any normal Steam purchase.

If something goes wrong

If the bot didn't add you, it's almost always blocked friend requests or an expired invite link. Open up your profile privacy and send a fresh link — the gift will arrive. Failures in services like this are rare, and we try to sort them out quickly.
