Trepang2 is a wildly fast first-person shooter in the old-school F.E.A.R. spirit: slow-motion, cloaking, dismemberment and walls painted red. You play an enhanced soldier with no memory who breaks out of a black-site lab and goes for revenge. You get the game as a Steam gift: Standard (game only), Deluxe (+ Season Pass) or Banger (+ Season Pass and soundtrack).

Once the gift is delivered it cannot be refunded. If Steam rejects the gift due to region mismatch, the full amount is returned to your site balance.

You play an enhanced soldier with no memory who wakes up inside a secret military corporation's black site and fights his way out — through special forces, the paranormal, and mountains of spent casings.

Why Trepang2 is so easy to sink into

The core hook is the mix of superpowers and tactile gunplay. Slow-motion turns any firefight into a ballet of muzzle flashes and spray, while the cloak lets you slip behind enemies and start quiet chaos. Foes react to hits by body part, blood coats the walls and floor, and the weapons feel heavy and responsive. Between missions there's a combat simulator — a separate sandbox for drilling combos and challenges. This isn't a corridor shooting gallery; it's a mean, juicy action game with attitude.

Trepang2 editions: Standard, Deluxe and Banger

There are three options in the catalog, and all three are full copies of the game. The base game is already included in each edition — you don't buy it separately.

  • Standard Edition — the base game only. The ideal entry point if you just want the campaign with no extras.
  • Deluxe Edition — base game + Season Pass. The Season Pass unlocks Survival mode (wave-based survival) and the Bladekisser story DLC.
  • Banger Edition — everything in Deluxe plus the official soundtrack: 58 tracks, almost two hours of original music. The pick for those who want it all.

What's in the Season Pass

The Season Pass is your ticket to the extra content, and as of today it's fully revealed. It includes the Survival Mode DLC — a survival mode against waves of enemies — and Bladekisser, the story DLC released on July 25, 2024. Bladekisser adds two new missions, three weapons (Sword, Revolver and Machine Gun), nine combat-sim maps, new high-value targets, and a batch of intel logs for the lore. Since both add-ons are long out, in Deluxe and Banger you get them right away, with no waiting for a release.
