The Division 2 as a Steam Gift: editions, contents and how delivery works
Washington, D.C. lies in ruins. Seven months after the green poison outbreak of the first game, agents of the Strategic Homeland Division (SHD) take to the streets of the U.S. capital to keep it from collapsing for good. Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is an online third-person shooter-RPG from Massive Entertainment and Ubisoft, where you farm gear, build out your agent and clear contested districts solo or in co-op for up to four players. Here we sell the game as a Steam Gift — it lands straight in your Steam library, no activation codes involved.
What a Steam Gift is and why it is convenient
The gift is sent by our bot directly to your Steam account. You provide a friend-invite link and your account region; the bot adds itself, sends the gift and leaves your friends list once delivery is done. You do not have to accept the friend request manually, and Steam Guard is not required. All you do is click "Accept Gift" in Steam, and The Division 2 becomes a fully owned copy in your library.
The editions of The Division 2
There are three editions, and they differ by how much extra content you get. The base game is the same everywhere — the difference is the Warlords of New York expansion, the Battle for Brooklyn story DLC and the bonus packs.
- Standard Edition — the base game: the full Washington campaign, endgame and the Dark Zone PvP. The Warlords of New York expansion is currently bundled in for free on new accounts, so there is plenty to play from the start.
- Gold Edition — the base game, the Warlords of New York expansion (a new zone in Lower Manhattan and the hunt for Aaron Keener), the Battle for Brooklyn story DLC, a level 40 boost (jump straight into the Brooklyn content) and an expanded gear stash.
- Ultimate Edition — everything in Gold plus 1,000 Premium Credits and the Ultimate Pack: the Battleworn Secret Service, First Responder and Elite Agent cosmetic packs, along with an exclusive emote and outfit.
What the expansion and DLC add
Warlords of New York is a large story expansion: it raises the level cap, opens a new open-world zone in Lower Manhattan, adds four new specializations and kicks off the manhunt for rogue agent Keener. Battle for Brooklyn is a separate story episode that continues the events after Manhattan. In Gold and Ultimate both pieces are already baked into the edition — nothing extra to buy.
Gift region — the thing that matters most
A Steam gift is region-bound. Your Steam account region must match the gift region, otherwise Steam will not let you accept it. One more hard requirement: the recipient account must not already own the game — a gift cannot be accepted onto a library that already has it. If you are unsure of your Steam region, open "About account" in Steam settings to see your store country. Pick the variant that matches your region at checkout.
How fast the gift arrives
Delivery usually takes a couple of minutes after you order — the bot adds itself and sends the gift automatically. Occasional delays happen, as with any service like this, but we try to sort them out quickly. We do not promise "instant" — it is more honest to say "usually within a few minutes."
Why the gameplay keeps you hooked
The Division 2 is a long-haul looter-shooter. The story campaign walks you through landmark Washington districts from the White House to the Capitol, and once it is done a full endgame opens up: taking enemy strongholds, raids for four to eight players, weekly projects and an endless chase for better gear. The build system lets you shape your agent to your style — a shield-tank, a stealthy sharpshooter or a master of drones and turrets. A standout feature is the Dark Zone, a PvPvE area where other players can be allies or backstabbers hunting your contaminated loot. You can play solo, but the game truly opens up in co-op for up to four.

In short
The Division 2 is dozens of hours of loot, co-op and endgame in a broken Washington. Pick the edition that fits: Standard to try it, Gold to grab the expansion and Brooklyn right away, Ultimate for the cosmetics and bonus credits. Give your account region and an invite link, make sure the game is not already in your library — and the gift arrives on its own.
