Every Taiwu world is generated randomly: maps, NPCs and enemies are built anew at the start, so no two playthroughs are alike. Combat rests on martial arts from fifteen distinct sects — thousands of techniques to learn and combine — plus hundreds of traditional Chinese crafts you can pick up from nearly any NPC you meet. What the gift includes

You receive the base game The Scroll of Taiwu : Beyond The Dome in its current 1.0 version — all the core release content. This is a complete game, not an add-on: no previously owned base game is required. Separate cosmetic packs, soundtracks and story DLC (such as “The Transmogrifying Cricket”) are not part of this gift — you can buy those in Steam on top of the installed game if you want.

The core hook of Taiwu is that you don't play one hero but a whole dynasty. When your heir falls or lives out their span, the next one carries on: accumulated knowledge, clan reputation and ties to the world partly pass down, but the world has already been reshaped by your earlier choices. Thanks to random generation and roguelike conflicts, every run becomes its own story — sometimes you build a peaceful estate and master crafts, sometimes you plunge into the feuds of fifteen sects and walk the path of martial arts. It's not a linear plot but a living simulation of a destiny you shape yourself.

Requirements and platforms

The game targets PC on Windows and is distributed through Steam, so the gift lands in your normal Steam library alongside your other games. It runs on desktop and on Steam Deck with a supported language. Beyond PC, the developers have announced releases on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One — but this gift is specifically the Steam PC version. If you're building a library on PC, this is the most direct way to get the full 1.0 release.
