About the game

The Outlast Trials is a co-op survival horror from Red Barrels, a prequel to the whole Outlast series. The Murkoff Corporation drags you into an underground Cold War-era lab and runs mind-control experiments on you: clear nightmarish "trials" solo or in a group of four, hide, run and survive. You receive the game as a Steam gift, delivered to your account by our bot.

Once the gift is delivered it cannot be refunded. If Steam rejects the gift due to region mismatch, the full amount is returned to your site balance.

The Outlast Trials is the third entry in the cult Outlast series and a prequel to the original two games. Studio Red Barrels drops you into the Cold War era under the wing of the Murkoff Corporation, which runs inhuman mind-control experiments on its "volunteers." You're locked inside an underground lab and forced to clear "trials" — nightmarish scenarios where you sneak, hide, run from lunatics and complete objectives while staying alive. There are no real weapons here: your tools are awareness, nerves and knowing exactly when to dive under a bed. We sell the game as a Steam gift — you receive it on your own account through our bot.

What the game is and why it hooks you

Unlike the first two installments, The Outlast Trials is co-op first. You can run the trials solo, but the real flavor comes alive in a group of up to four with cross-platform online: one distracts the pursuer, another fiddles with a lock, a third drags a wounded teammate to cover. Murkoff hands you night-vision goggles, you upgrade your dorm-like "cell," unlock new skills and cosmetics, and between runs you return to a sinister hub that feels like a waking dream. The atmosphere is pure Outlast: grimy tile, flickering lights, scraping metal and screams somewhere behind the wall.

The catalog has two options, and both are the full game (the base is already included) — they differ only in cosmetics:

  • The Outlast Trials (Standard) — the base version of the game with no extra cosmetics. If you only care about gameplay, grab this one.
  • The Outlast Trials — Reagent Starter Pack Edition — the same game plus the Reagent Starter Pack. It includes 4 legendary-rarity outfits (Space Oddity Vapor Suit, Hazard Ignorance Suit, Bidendum Glut Suit, Chemistry Teacher Suit), items to decorate your "cell" (among them a Futterman Doll, Stun Rod, Mannequin, Teeth Bowl, Police Badge, Pistachios), 3 exclusive profile icons and posters. All of it is about looks and customization — it doesn't affect difficulty or balance.

How the gift is delivered

The Outlast Trials is delivered as a Steam Gift through our bot. We need two things from you: the friend invite link of your Steam profile and your account region. Everything else is automatic: the bot adds itself as your friend, sends the gift, and leaves your friends list once it's delivered. You don't need to accept the friend request. The whole thing usually takes a couple of minutes from checkout, but that's not a hard guarantee — sometimes it's a bit longer.

Conditions worth knowing up front

To make sure the gift goes through smoothly, keep three things in mind:

  • Account region = gift region. If the regions don't match, Steam simply won't let you accept the gift. State your region honestly.
  • You must not already own the game. Steam won't accept a gift for an account that already has The Outlast Trials — this is the single most common reason for a failed gift.
  • Friend requests allowed. Your profile settings must allow adding friends, otherwise the bot can't reach you.

Steam Guard is not required — the gift goes through to accounts without it too. Hiccups are rare, as with any service like this; if the bot couldn't add you (private profile or an expired link), just send us a fresh invite link and we'll retry delivery.
