The House of Da Vinci is an atmospheric 3D puzzle adventure by Slovak studio Blue Brain Games, released on Steam on November 24, 2017. You play as Leonardo da Vinci's apprentice: the master has suddenly vanished, and you must search his workshop — full of intricate mechanisms, hidden boxes and inventions — to pick up his trail. It's a calm, thoughtful game about unraveling riddles rather than action: you spend your time rotating objects, finding hidden levers and assembling mechanisms piece by piece.

What the game is about

The story unfolds in Renaissance Florence. Every room is its own puzzle: locked doors, secret boxes, mechanical locks and devices inspired by Leonardo's real inventions. As you progress you gain two special lenses with “supernatural” abilities: one reveals hidden codes and writings, the other lets you look into the past and see what happened in the room before. These lenses are the key to the game's most elegant puzzles.
