FAQ

Styx: Blades of Greed — Steam key for the goblin-thief stealth game

Styx: Blades of Greed is a stealth-action game by Cyanide, released on February 19, 2026 under Nacon on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Once again you play as Styx — a small, cheeky, endlessly talkative goblin thief who breaks into impregnable fortresses to steal precious Quartz. It's a new chapter following Styx: Shards of Darkness, and it tells how the war between the Orcs and the Empire first began. Buy the key from us and you get a Steam activation code — the game lands in your library and stays yours for good.

What kind of game it is

Styx is no shining-armor hero. He's a coward, a trickster and a thief, and the whole game is built around slipping past where brute force won't work. In Blades of Greed, Cyanide moved away from the tight linear levels of past entries toward three large semi-open areas you can explore freely. You scout for alternate routes, hide in shadows, snuff out torches, eavesdrop on guards and decide for yourself how to rob each tower — slip past unseen or leave a pile of bodies behind.

Gadgets, magic and progression

Styx's toolkit includes a grappling hook for vertical movement, his signature ability to spawn a clone that distracts enemies and squeezes into places the goblin can't, plus magic: mind control and time manipulation. The progression is Metroidvania-style — new abilities open up areas that were locked before, so you'll want to revisit the same fortress in different ways. Stealth, theft and clean runs earn experience that you pour into a talent tree.

Key region: CIS

This is a CIS-region key. It activates on a Steam account whose country is set to a CIS country — Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Armenia and others. If your account is tied to the CIS region, it activates with no hassle. Steam simply won't accept it on an account set to a different region, so check your account country in advance — that's the single most common reason activation fails. There are no «47 regional versions» of this key: one key, one CIS region.

How to activate the key

It takes a minute. Open the Steam client, choose «Games» from the top menu, then «Activate a Product on Steam», enter the code you received and confirm. The game is added to your library — just download and play. The key is simply a code; you don't assign it to anyone or forward it.

Base game and Deluxe Upgrade

The card offers two options. Base Game is the full Styx: Blades of Greed with the whole campaign — nothing else to buy. Deluxe Upgrade is a cosmetic add-on, not a separate copy of the game. It includes the Greedy Skin Pack, the Legacy Skin Pack (nods to earlier games in the series) and a Weapon Pack with three new daggers and five taunts. 🔴 Important: the Deluxe Upgrade requires the base game (same CIS region) already activated — without the base on your account, there's no point redeeming the upgrade.

Where you can play

The key is for the PC version on Steam. After activation the game is tied to your account and runs on any device signed into Steam — from a regular PC to a Steam Deck. No subscription: you own the game outright.

If you know the series

Blades of Greed carries on the series' stealth tradition. If you enjoyed the sneaking of past entries, check out Styx: Shards of Darkness and the original Styx: Master of Shadows, and for the roots of the universe try the RPG Of Orcs and Men, where Styx comes from. You don't need the earlier games to follow the story — Blades of Greed stands on its own.

Difficulty and play style

Blades of Greed doesn't hold your hand. Enemies are dangerous in a straight fight, so the game rewards patience, planning and dirty tricks: poison a well, drop a guard from a ledge, lure a patrol with your clone. You can go full pacifist — clear a level without killing a single soul — or knife everyone from the shadows. On PC the game was warmly received for its stealth mechanics and atmosphere, while the series stays true to its niche, deliberate pace — this is a game for players who enjoy the craft of a well-planned heist rather than fast-paced action.
