In Creative mode resources are unlimited — a pure sandbox for building and testing. Career adds an economy: you manage your rescue service's finances, take contracts and grow your base. The same storm rescue plays out completely differently depending on the mode, which keeps interest alive: first you build in the sandbox, then you test yourself under harsh conditions.

Stormworks shines with company. It supports online co-op: you crew a single multi-seat vehicle together — one at the helm, one on the winch, one watching the pumps. PvP is also possible.
