Star Wars Battlefront II — Steam Gift

About the game

Star Wars Battlefront II is a large-scale action shooter by DICE, Criterion and Motive set in the Star Wars galaxy: a single-player campaign following Imperial pilot Iden Versio, sprawling 20-vs-20 battles on the ground and in space, and heroes from Yoda to Kylo Ren. You get a Steam gift of the Celebration Edition: the full game plus the whole stash of appearances and emotes gathered up to The Rise of Skywalker.

Once the gift is delivered it cannot be refunded. If Steam rejects the gift due to region mismatch, the full amount is returned to your site balance.
Available items are processed automatically. Any issues will be resolved starting from 9:00 MSK.

Your Steam account region must match the gift region, and the game must not already be in your library. Pick the variant for your region.

FAQ

Star Wars Battlefront II: Celebration Edition — Steam gift with the full game

Battlefront II is that big Star Wars sandbox where you can play through a dramatic single-player campaign in one evening and then jump into a massive 40-player online clash. Infantry, AT-AT walkers, X-wings and TIE fighters, and legendary heroes and villains from every era of the saga all meet here. You're buying a Steam gift of the Celebration Edition — the full game plus a huge stash of appearances and emotes gathered up to the Rise of Skywalker content drop.

What the Celebration Edition is and what's inside

One thing to get straight: the Steam version of Battlefront II IS the Celebration Edition. You don't need to buy a separate "base game" somewhere and then add an upgrade — the full game is already inside the gift. The edition includes:

  • the full Battlefront II game with all free updates released after launch;
  • more than 25 hero appearances, including 6 Legendary ones, plus appearances for Rey, Finn and Kylo Ren inspired by The Rise of Skywalker;
  • more than 125 trooper and reinforcement appearances;
  • more than a hundred hero and trooper emotes and voice lines.

One honest caveat: cosmetics that DICE added to the game AFTER December 20, 2019 are not part of the Celebration Edition — that's the Rise of Skywalker content cutoff. It doesn't affect gameplay at all: every map, mode and hero is available to all players; only the set of starting skins differs.

The campaign: a view from the Empire's side

The Battlefront II campaign follows Iden Versio, commander of the Empire's elite Inferno Squad. The story opens on the day the second Death Star falls over Endor and carries you through key events between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens. Familiar heroes of the saga take the controls along the way, and the campaign ties the old and new trilogies into a single thread.

Multiplayer battles on the ground and in space

The heart of the game is its online battles. Supremacy and the large-scale Galactic Assault modes throw two teams of 20 into a fight for planets across all eras — from storming Kamino to defending Hoth. A special highlight is Starfighter Assault space combat, where you pilot fighters, bombers and iconic ships like the Millennium Falcon and Slave I. Progression runs on the Star Card system, unlocking infantry classes, special units and heroes.

How to receive the gift and start playing

Delivery goes through a Steam Gift via a bot. We need two things from you: your Steam friend invite link (s.team/p/...) and your account region. After payment the bot adds itself as your friend and sends the gift — this usually takes a couple of minutes. You don't need to accept the friend request: the bot does it all and removes itself after delivery. Steam Guard is not required to receive the gift.

Region and game ownership

The game itself isn't region-locked on Steam — it runs worldwide. But since this is a gift, two conditions matter: your Steam account region must match the gift region, and Battlefront II must not already be in that account's library (Steam won't let you accept a gift for a game you already own). Your profile settings must allow friend requests. Pick the variant for your region — if unsure, go by your Steam account's country.

System requirements and platform

The game runs on PC via Steam. Built on the Frostbite engine, Battlefront II looks great even on mid-range machines, supports gamepads and high resolutions. It's a multiplayer title with live servers, so the online modes need a stable internet connection.

If you love the Star Wars universe

Battlefront II is a great entry point into the galaxy for anyone who wants large-scale battles above all. If you're drawn to single-player story adventures with lightsaber dueling instead, check out Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and its sequel Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. And fans of classic arcade arena combat in the spirit of the original duology should look at Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection.

The short version

You get a Steam gift of the full Celebration Edition: the campaign, online battles on the ground and in space, dozens of heroes and the whole starting set of appearances up to Rise of Skywalker. Provide your invite link and region, place the order — the bot sends the gift, usually within a couple of minutes.
