The Plus expansion: 12 Game Gear titles and Amy Rose

Sitting next to the base version is the Sonic Origins Plus expansion. It's not a standalone game but an add-on that installs on top of the collection, so base Sonic Origins must be on the account. What it adds:

  • 12 classic Sega Game Gear games — handheld classics like Sonic Drift 2, Sonic Spinball and Tails' Adventure.
  • Amy Rose as a playable character in Sonic 1, Sonic 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles and Sonic CD — a first for these games.
  • Knuckles in Sonic CD, who wasn't in the original.
