An archer on a cliff and a mage on a balcony are worth more than two fighters head-on; darkness hinders your own heroes without darkvision just as much as it hinders enemies. A well-claimed high point often settles a battle before the enemy even closes to melee range. And Solasta II never collapses into a puzzle with one correct answer: the same skirmish can be won with a sneak attack from shadow, spell-based crowd control, or shield-wall tanking β€” it all depends on the party you built.

The world of Solasta and a new story

The setting is the same world as the first game, but with a new dramatic storyline: Solasta stands on the edge once again, and your party lands in the middle of it. Skill-checked dialogue, lines for every member of the group and decisions that shape your route β€” the sequel bets on making the party feel like a living table of players rather than four mannequins with health bars.

Early Access, stated honestly: what's inside today

Solasta II is not the final 1.0 build yet β€” and we say that plainly. Right now you get story Act I with a level cap of 4, six playable classes and four ancestries for building your party, plus the combat system, exploration and dialogue checks. Tactical Adventures has already shipped substantial updates during Early Access β€” among them the one introducing a character collection you can save and reuse between runs, along with plenty of fixes driven by player feedback.

The road map to version 1.0

The developers plan roughly a year in Early Access. Over that stretch they've promised online co-op, new classes and ancestries, additional locations, monsters and quests, with the level cap rising to 10. Buy the base game now and every future update arrives free within the same copy β€” it's a ticket for the project's whole journey, not a stripped-down demo. Early Access is a proven model for Tactical Adventures: the first Solasta walked the same road and came out of it noticeably stronger than it went in, largely thanks to community feedback.
