Saints Row: build a criminal empire in Santo Ileso
The 2022 Saints Row is a full reboot of the legendary franchise by Volition. Where earlier entries spiralled into total absurdity with superpowers and aliens, the reboot brings the story back to its roots: you're a young hustler who, together with three friends, decides to stop working for other bosses and start your own gang. Here The Saints are literally a startup — you begin with debt and a rented apartment and end up controlling an entire city-state.
When you buy Saints Row from us, you get a Steam gift at a regional price instead of overpaying for the local store tag. Below we break down what's inside the game, how the editions differ, and exactly how the gift delivery works.
The open world of Santo Ileso
The action unfolds in Santo Ileso — a fictional city-state in the American Southwest. This isn't a grey metropolis but a sun-soaked desert: canyons, highways, neon casino signs, slums and wealthy districts. The map is big and varied, and it's genuinely fun just to cruise around in a car, glide with a wingsuit and cause chaos. The world feels alive and cheeky — exactly in the spirit of the series.
The city is split between three major factions: the street racers Los Panteros, the glamorous anarchists The Idols, and the militarised corporation Marshall. Your job is to take districts from them one by one, expanding the reach of The Saints.
A criminal empire run like a business
The reboot's standout idea is that you build your gang like a real enterprise. You seize territory, set up criminal "ventures" on it (from underground labs to scam operations), and each venture brings income and unlocks new missions. This turns the familiar open world into something like a strategy game: you don't just run between markers, you decide which district to grow next and which business to launch.
Between the main missions there's plenty of side activity: wild jobs in the signature fun style, highway stunts, shootouts and the trademark Saints Row chaos the series is loved for.
Deep customization
Saints Row has always been about freedom of self-expression, and the reboot raises the bar. The Boss Factory character editor lets you build literally anyone — from a realistic hero to a completely insane creation. Almost everything is customizable: looks, clothes, weapons and vehicles. Want a pink rifle and a car with wings? Go for it. That freedom makes every playthrough personal.
Two-player co-op
You can play the entire campaign in two-player online co-op. A friend drops into your world, and together you build the empire, pull stunts and tear through enemies. Shared chaos is its own kind of fun, and Saints Row is made exactly for it. If you enjoy co-op action, also check out Far Cry 5, where co-op through an open world is done brilliantly.
Editions: Standard and Gold Edition
Two editions are available. Saints Row (Standard) is the base game with the full campaign, open world and co-op. Saints Row Gold Edition additionally includes the Expansion Pass — a set of expansions and extra content that adds new activities and items on top of the base game. If you want the full package upfront without buying add-ons separately, grab Gold.
Love criminal open worlds with charisma and drive? Take a look at Rage 2 with its reckless post-apocalypse and Watch Dogs Legion, where you can recruit any city resident into your team.
How Steam gift delivery works
Saints Row here is delivered as a Steam gift via our bot. The mechanic is as simple as it gets: the bot adds you as a friend or sends the gift right away, then leaves once it's delivered. You do not need to manually send or accept a friend request — the bot handles everything itself. You also don't need to enable or configure Steam Guard. Delivery usually takes a couple of minutes.
There are two important conditions. First: your Steam account region must match the gift region — that's exactly why the price is lower than local. Second: the Saints Row game must not already be in your library, so the gift is accepted on a new or clean account.
Why a regional gift is cheaper
Prices for the same game on Steam differ from country to country. A regional gift lets you get a licensed copy of Saints Row cheaper than the local tag, while the game stays fully official and runs in Steam as usual. The only requirement is the account and gift region match, as we described above.
Who Saints Row is for
The game will appeal to anyone who loves open worlds with fun, cheeky humour, customization and co-op. This isn't grim realism but a thrill ride: stunts, explosions, crazy cars and a story about friends building an empire from scratch. If that vibe is your thing, Saints Row is absolutely worth your attention.
