Buy Russian Fishing 4 Gold: coin packs and Premium Account by nickname
Russian Fishing 4 is a realistic angling sim from St. Petersburg studio FishSoft. It launched into Steam Early Access on 15 June 2018 and reached full release on 10 November 2021. The game is PC-only on Windows, with two storefronts that share one backend: Steam (App ID 766570) and the official launcher distributed from rf4game.com and rf4game.ru. There are no console or mobile versions, nor have any been announced. By spring 2026 the map covers around seventeen fishing locations, from the starter Tunaika Lake all the way to the Norwegian Sea DLC and the Siberian Lower Tunguska River. Gold (Gold Coins) is the premium currency that funds premium tackle, instant repairs, boat rentals, aquarium food and Premium Account activations.
- Premium rods, reels, lines and baits available without crafting waits
- Instant repairs instead of the standard silver-with-delay queue
- Motor boat and sonar rentals for the Norwegian Sea
- Activation of the Premium Account for 3, 7, 30, 90, 180, 360 days or Lifetime
- Item transfers between waters and aquarium fish food
- Gifting tackle to other players, unlocked at character level 20 with active Premium
Gold and Silver: two parallel currencies, no exchange rate
RF4 runs on two coins, and they are easy to confuse. Gold is the premium currency that you buy with real money. Silver is the soft in-game currency, earned by selling fish at the market, completing cafe orders (turning in five to seven specific fish for a payout above market price) and placing in tournaments. There is no direct gold-to-silver conversion in the game โ they are two independent loops. Most tackle and bait carry two prices: a cheaper one in silver with a wait, or an instant one in gold. Silver is not sold for real money on the official storefront, which is why the Brawl Games catalogue lists eight denominations from 1 to 500 of Gold, not silver.
Premium Account: seven separate SKUs, not one stacked subscription
Premium in RF4 is structured very differently from a 30-day gacha-RPG subscription. It is not one base pass with multiple concurrent activations โ it is seven distinct products at their own price points: 3 days, 7 days, 30, 90, 180, 360 days, and Lifetime. Activating a new pack adds the remaining time on top of what is already running, so two 30-day activations turn into 60 continuous days of Premium โ that is plain extension, not parallel stacking. The Lifetime tier is worth flagging on its own: the roughly two-thousand-dollar price tag on the official site made it a media talking point, with PC Gamer and hundreds of Steam reviews using it as the textbook case of aggressive monetisation. The developer has stated up front that Lifetime does not carry over to a potential Russian Fishing 5, which matters if you are weighing a one-and-done purchase.
What Premium actually does and does not do
Premium benefits are passive โ there is no daily currency drop:
- +100% angler XP on every fish caught, the main lever for character levelling and unlocking new waters
- Higher skill-up roll on fishing and crafting skills (float, spinning, bottom, trolling, bait and lure crafting)
- Item gifting to other players, unlocked at level 20 and only while Premium is active; tackle bought for gold can be passed on
- Doubled duration on event bonuses โ a Happy Hour, for example, runs twice as long for Premium accounts
- Cafe orders on other waters visible remotely, without travelling there
What Premium does not do is double silver. This is a common misconception: the subscription speeds up XP and skill-up rolls, but coins from selling fish and cafe orders accrue at exactly the same rate as without it. The right strategy for a Premium player is to rotate fishing styles and craft different lures in sequence, so the elevated skill-up chance pays off across as many trees as possible.
It is not gacha: tackle shops instead of banners
Russian Fishing 4 is not a gacha title. There are no banners, no pity, no 50/50 and no fate points, so the gacha vocabulary does not apply here. Premium rods, reels, lines, floats and baits are sold directly for Gold in fixed shops on each fishing location: prices are static, the catalogue is visible up front, and there is no "roll for a chance" loop. That changes how you budget โ gold is spent on a known item rather than on a draw for a featured character. A portion of the premium tackle has a parallel silver listing as well; the difference is instant availability and the option to pass it to other players when Premium is active.
Waters, DLC and where Gold goes
Locations open up by angler level. Tunaika Lake is the starter water, Old Burg Lake unlocks at level 12, then come Mosquito Lake, Belchug, Sura, Volkhov, Akhtuba, Ladoga, Volga, Kuori and so on. Two DLC packs noticeably expand the game: Norwegian Sea (released 6 April 2023) is a sea-fishing area with sonar and motor boats and a hard cap of three trips per period โ the limit was added in a 2024 patch and many players read it as a nerf; Lower Tunguska River is a tributary of the Yenisei and the first location outside European Russia, introducing the heavy baitcaster class and topwater lures. On high-level waters Gold tends to flow toward specialised tackle for trophy fish, boat rentals and instant repairs โ without them sessions stall on waiting timers.
2026 content: Patchnotes New Year and the reworked Winding Rivulet
The game does not use "X.Y" version numbering like HoYoverse titles โ updates ship under thematic names. The Patchnotes New Year 2026 update on 22 December 2025 reworked Winding Rivulet, expanded the reel selection, added New Year fairs and themed quests (available until 1 February 2026) and introduced a new caught-fish info screen with detailed stats. On the monetisation side, FishSoft ran a 25% discount on Premium and a 35% discount on Gold during the 22 December 2025 to 12 January 2026 window, and a Happy Hour for everyone with the doubled duration applying to Premium accounts ran until 12 January. These are seasonal promotions, not a permanent first-purchase doubler โ RF4 has no recurring x2 bonus on first top-up the way gacha RPGs do.
Nickname instead of UID, and the two FishSoft storefronts
RF4 has no numeric UID: the single identifier for delivering top-up items from any storefront is the character nickname you picked when registering on rf4game.ru or rf4game.com. The nickname is unique across one shared backend and cannot be changed for free โ renames cost in-game or premium currency. FishSoft runs two parallel storefronts: rf4game.ru handles roubles and local payment methods, while rf4game.com handles USD and EUR. The game backend is one and the same, and progress carries seamlessly between the Steam build and the launcher build. International cards from regions where the official store has limited card support have been unstable on rf4game.com since 2022, so players often complete top-ups through the Steam Wallet, the local-currency storefront, or third-party services that deliver by nickname.
How to place a Russian Fishing 4 top-up
- Open your in-game profile or your account on rf4game.ru / rf4game.com and copy the character nickname.
- Pick the listing โ a Gold pack from 1 to 500 coins, or a Premium Account in the term you want.
- Enter the nickname in the order form and double-check the case of the characters.
- Confirm the data on the checkout screen and complete payment.
- Wait for delivery โ Gold or the Premium activation lands on the account tied to that nickname.
If you are looking at adjacent niche PC titles
- Once Human โ a free-to-play PC survival game from a Chinese publisher with a similar "core game free, progression monetised" logic and account-based top-ups.
- Tarisland โ a PC MMO with a premium subscription and long-tail progression, close in player psychology to RF4's pay-for-acceleration audience.
- Lineage 2M โ a Korean MMO with heavy premium-account monetisation; a useful reference point for anyone comparing RF4 with other slow-burn grinders.
The Brawl Games catalogue lists eight Gold denominations โ 1, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 and 500 coins โ alongside every Premium Account length from 3 days through Lifetime. Checkout only needs the character nickname, with no login or password required; payment is accepted from Russia and the CIS. The on-site chat is available before checkout for questions about a specific pack or order status.
