ROUNDS is a fast, duel-based rogue-lite shooter from Swedish studio Landfall Games (the folks behind Totally Accurate Battle Simulator and Stick Fight). The formula is simple and addictive: you and an opponent fight on a tiny 2D arena, the loser of each round picks a card upgrade, and with every round your builds get crazier. How the gameplay works

Every match is a series of short one-on-one rounds. You both start with a basic weapon and a couple of lives. Whoever dies gives the opponent half a point; a full point wins the round. Then the fun begins: the loser picks one of several random cards — more damage, ricochet, double jump, teleport, a shield, burning bullets and dozens of other modifiers. This keeps the weaker side catching up, and by the end of a match the characters turn into walking chaos machines. First to 5 points wins.

1v1, 2v2 and playing with friends

ROUNDS supports 1v1 duels and 2v2 team fights — online over the net or local on a single PC sharing keyboard/gamepads. There's also practice against bots to learn the cards. But the real joy is a live opponent across from you: matches are short, the rematch is one click away, and "just one more round" easily eats your whole evening.

What's in the gift

This is the full base game of ROUNDS — no separate editions, no paid DLC and no microtransactions. One gift puts the entire game in your library with all the cards, modes and updates. The upgrades here are purely in-match — there's nothing extra to buy.

How the Steam gift delivery works

We deliver this as a Steam Gift through the supplier's bot. We need two things from you: your Steam profile friend-invite link and the region (country) of your account. After that it's automatic:

• The bot adds itself as your friend — you don't need to accept anything.
• It sends the ROUNDS gift to your account.
• Once delivered, the bot removes itself from your friends list.

About region — the key condition

The main rule for accepting any Steam gift: your Steam account region must match the gift region. If they don't match, Steam simply won't let you accept it, so enter your real account country at checkout. One more thing: ROUNDS must not already be in your library — Steam won't accept a gift for a game you already own. That's the number-one reason gifts fail, so check your library beforehand.

Cards, builds and replayability

The core of ROUNDS is its dozens of upgrade cards that stack into unexpected combos. Some buff your weapon (ricochet, explosive and incendiary bullets, more ammo), others change the fighter's body (double jump, dash, teleport, regeneration, extra lives), and others are pure defense like an energy shield. Because the draws are random and the loser is the one who gets the upgrade, no two matches play the same: one round you're a lone sniper, the next you're a storm of bouncing bullets. That keeps replayability high — especially with a friend across from you picking something new every time.

ROUNDS runs on Windows and is very light on hardware — its simple 2D visuals launch on practically any modern PC, and it feels right at home on Steam Deck. Keyboard or gamepad both work; online matches need internet, while local same-PC battles play offline.
