RoadCraft β buy the rebuilding and heavy-machinery simulator as a Steam gift
RoadCraft is an infrastructure-rebuilding simulator by Saber Interactive, the studio behind MudRunner and SnowRunner. You take the controls of heavy machinery and set things right where a disaster has passed: clearing debris, laying roads, fixing bridges and bringing shattered regions back to life. The game launched in May 2025. On this page it is arranged as a Steam gift, and our bot handles delivery β it adds itself to your friends via your invite link and sends the copy to your account.
What RoadCraft is about
At its heart the game is about creation, not destruction. After natural disasters, whole districts are cut off: washed-out roads, collapsed bridges, blocked passages. Your job is to bring them back. You plan the work, bring in the right machines and, step by step, restore the connectivity of the area. It is calm, thoughtful gameplay where the pleasure comes from the process of setting things in order and from a tangible result you can see.
The MudRunner and SnowRunner heritage
Saber Interactive is renowned for its off-road simulators, and RoadCraft continues that line. Under the hood is a new version of the studio's engine with advanced physics: machines bog down in mud, cargo has weight and inertia, and the surface reacts to wheels and tracks. If you have ever been stuck in the swamps of SnowRunner, the familiar simulation rigor is still here β only now the emphasis shifts from getting through to building.
A large fleet of machines
You have a substantial fleet of specialized machines at your disposal, each tuned to its role. Bulldozers clear rubble, rollers compact the surface, cranes lift structures, and trucks and haulers carry materials and equipment. Learning each machine is part of the fun: they handle differently, have different capabilities and different personalities on rough terrain. Assembling the right combination for a given task is a small engineering puzzle in itself.
A key detail is resource logistics. Materials do not appear from thin air: you have to extract, load and deliver them to the site, and a heavy load changes how a machine behaves on climbs and in mud. So in RoadCraft you do not just drive around β you build a chain: where to source raw materials, which vehicle to haul them with, how to lay a temporary off-road route just to reach the site at all. That blend of simulation and planning is what makes the game absorbing for fans of a meaningful, unhurried process.
Rebuilding from clearing to asphalt
Work in RoadCraft runs a full cycle. First you clear the area of debris, then level the ground, lay the base and road surface, and put crossings in place. A particular joy is watching an impassable mess turn into a smooth road with traffic flowing again. Each restored stretch opens access further on, and the region gradually comes alive under your hands.
Four-player convoy co-op
RoadCraft plays wonderfully in company: it supports online co-op for up to 4 players. You can split duties β one clears, another hauls materials, a third lays the surface β or throw the whole crew at a single large site. A big build moves noticeably faster with four, and coordination turns routine into teamwork with a visible payoff.
Co-op fits especially well here because the workloads are large and the machines varied: it is handy when everyone takes their own vehicle and you push the build from several sides at once. And the game does not pressure you for speed or impose hard timers β you can tinker calmly, experiment with routes and machinery, and your progress is saved, so you can return to an unfinished site anytime, solo or with the crew reassembled.
Editions: Standard and Anniversary
The catalog carries two editions, and both contain the full game:
- Standard β the base RoadCraft with all core content. A complete game with no extras.
- Anniversary β the same base plus the Rebuild and Reclaim expansions, along with a bonus off-road vehicle. The exact bonus contents can change over time, so verify them on the specific lot page.
Both are complete copies; you never need to buy the base separately.
How RoadCraft lands in your library
Delivery is automatic and needs no manual fuss. You provide the friend-invite link from your Steam profile and your account region. After payment the bot adds itself, sends the gift and leaves your friends list once everything is done. You do not confirm the request, and Steam Guard is not required to receive it. It usually takes a few minutes, but we promise no hard deadlines: if delivery stalls, message us and we will step in and help.
Check region and library beforehand
A Steam gift is accepted only if your account region matches the lot region β the price currency helps you spot it, so take the variant for your country and enter the region honestly. And check that RoadCraft is not already in the library: a gift will not go through for a game you already own. In both cases the money is not lost β the order value returns to your on-site balance for another attempt.
Performance and handhelds
You receive the PC Steam version for Windows. Running it on Steam Deck or Linux depends on the current compatibility rating and the Proton layer β a platform matter, not a gift one. The copy itself is exactly what you would get buying on Steam directly.
Adjacent picks in the catalogue
If you enjoy operating heavy machinery and thinking a couple of moves ahead, you will take to the military tactics of Men of War, where calculation and handling your vehicles on the battlefield decide everything. Fancy switching to a big role-playing adventure β open Baldur's Gate 3. And to top up a Steam wallet or gift the game to a build-crew partner, keep a Steam gift card on hand.
