Rift of the NecroDancer β€” Steam gift

About the game

Rift of the NecroDancer is the rhythm spin-off of the NecroDancer universe by Brace Yourself Games (published by Klei). Cadence is back, but instead of a roguelike dungeon you get three lanes, monsters marching to the beat, and boss fights with Rhythm Heaven-style minigames. You receive the game as a Steam gift: place the order and our bot sends the gift straight to your Steam.

Once the gift is delivered it cannot be refunded. If Steam rejects the gift due to region mismatch, the full amount is returned to your site balance.
Available items are processed automatically. Any issues will be resolved starting from 9:00 MSK.

This is a Steam gift: your Steam account region must match the gift region, and you must not already own the game. Pick your region's variant.

FAQ

Rift of the NecroDancer: rhythm against monsters on the beat

Rift of the NecroDancer is the rhythm spin-off of the NecroDancer universe by Brace Yourself Games (alongside Tic Toc Games, published by Klei Entertainment). It launched on Steam on February 5, 2025, and later reached Nintendo Switch on March 27, 2025. There are no roguelike dungeons from Crypt of the NecroDancer here: instead of mazes you get three lanes with monsters marching towards you to the music, and your job is to hit the beat and fight back with precise inputs. Cadence is the playable hero, just like before.

Here you get the game as a Steam gift: place your order and our bot sends the gift straight to your Steam. You don't need to accept the friend request or enable Steam Guard β€” more on that below.

What kind of game is this

In short, it's a music arcade built around three lanes. Enemies approach from the left, centre and right, each with its own timing and behaviour, and you catch the beat and strike right on the music. Beyond the main rifts there are boss fights, daily challenges, multiple difficulty settings, and Rhythm Heaven-style minigames that break up the main flow. Steam Workshop support lets you build and download custom stages, so the content doesn't end with the story campaign.

The soundtrack is the heart of it. The game revolves around its music, which is exactly why the track list matters so much when choosing an edition.

Standard Edition or 2025 Edition

There are two variants of the same game in our catalogue:

  • Standard Edition β€” the base Rift of the NecroDancer: Cadence's story, rhythm rifts, boss fights, minigames and the starter track set. A great entry point if you want to try the mechanics.
  • 2025 Edition β€” the full collection for the game's first year (content from February 2025 to February 2026). That's 81 tracks and ten major music collaborations. Note: the 2025 Edition already includes the base game, so there's no need to buy the standard version separately.

If you're mainly here for the music and want the whole arsenal at once, go for the 2025 Edition. If you'd rather start with the base and add packs later, the Standard Edition is the pick.

2025 Edition music collaborations

Over its first year Rift of the NecroDancer picked up an impressive list of guest music packs. The 2025 Edition includes tracks from collaborations with other games and artists, among them:

  • Hatsune Miku β€” Vocaloid track packs;
  • Celeste β€” music from the cult platformer;
  • Pizza Tower β€” its energetic soundtrack;
  • Friday Night Funkin' β€” a community rhythm classic;
  • Shovel Knight β€” tunes from the shovel-wielding knight;
  • plus Everhood, Monstercat, hololive and more.

On top of that, the game received free updates with guests like Super Meat Boy and UNBEATABLE β€” available to every owner regardless of edition.

How delivery works

The delivery flow is simple and doesn't ask much of you:

  • In the order fields you enter your Steam friend invite link (s.team/p/...) and your Steam account region.
  • After payment our bot adds itself to your friends and sends the gift β€” usually within a couple of minutes.
  • You don't need to accept the friend request: the bot does everything itself and automatically leaves your friends list after delivery.
  • All that's left is to accept the gift in Steam β€” the game lands in your library.

Important about region and account

This is a Steam gift, so there are two conditions without which Steam simply won't let you accept it:

  • Your Steam account region must match the gift region. So put your real account region in the region field and pick the matching variant.
  • The account must not already own the game. Steam won't let you accept a gift for a game already purchased on that account.

One more detail: your profile privacy settings must allow friend requests β€” otherwise the bot can't reach you. Steam Guard is not required. If something goes wrong (the bot didn't add you, the link expired) β€” contact us and we'll sort it out.

Purchase in short

You receive Rift of the NecroDancer as a Steam gift to your account. Pick an edition (Standard or 2025 Edition), provide your invite link and region, pay β€” and the bot sends the gift, usually within a couple of minutes. The game is yours forever, like any Steam purchase.
