About the game

Punishing: Gray Raven (PGR) is a 3D action-RPG by Kuro Games (the studio behind Wuthering Waves), set in a grim post-apocalyptic world with fast-paced combat. Players command Constructs — combat androids — against the Corrupted machines. Mobile cross-platform on iOS and Android, with Rainbow Cards tracked separately on each store. Three regional servers: Europe, Asia-Pacific and North America. The premium currency is Rainbow Cards, used for the Battle Pass, recruits and skins.

Rainbow Cards are split by platform: Android and iOS are separate currencies — cards do NOT transfer between them. Pick the tab for your device. Server is set at registration: Europe (best for CIS), Asia-Pacific, North America — cannot be changed.
Available items are processed automatically. Any issues will be resolved starting from 9:00 MSK.

FAQ

Buy Rainbow Cards for Punishing: Gray Raven: packs, the Monthly Card and the Black Card exchange

Punishing: Gray Raven is Kuro Games' sci-fi action RPG, set on the orbital ark Babylonia after Earth was overrun by the self-spreading Punishing Virus and most machines turned into Corrupted. The Global version launched on 16 July 2021, the title arrived on Steam in February 2026, and as of May 2026 the live build is Version 4.4 "The Dying Sun", a six-week patch that started on 21 April. PGR was Kuro's first major project before Wuthering Waves — the QTE swap-ins and the perfect-dodge slowmo that show up in WuWa were prototyped here first.

  • Premium currency Rainbow Cards for the Monthly Card, Battle Pass and Black Card exchange
  • 1 Rainbow Card = 10 Black Cards in the in-game exchange tab
  • Separate Rainbow Card wallets on Android and iOS, even on the same KuroAccount
  • First-purchase x2 Rainbow Card bonus on every denomination, resetting on the game's anniversary
  • No 50/50 — featured S-Rank guaranteed within 60 pulls on the limited banner
  • Monthly Card grants 300 Black Cards instantly and 100 BC daily for 30 days

Rainbow Cards and Black Cards: two currencies at a 1:10 rate

In PGR Rainbow Cards (RC) and Black Cards (BC) are two distinct currencies, not regional skins of the same wallet. Rainbow Cards are bought with real money and feed the Monthly Card, the Battle Pass, Construct coatings and the Black Card Exchange tab inside the Top-Up menu. Black Cards are the in-game pull currency for Member Recruit and theme banners. The conversion rate is 1 RC to 10 BC, not 1:1 like Genesis Crystals to Primogems in Genshin. The first exchange of each denomination doubles the BC payout, and that bonus refreshes on the global anniversary. Players coming from HoYoverse titles often miscount their pull budget because they assume parity — the 1:10 multiplier needs to be factored in when planning a pity run.

Android and iOS: one account, two separate RC wallets

This is the single most common source of "the top-up went to the wrong wallet" disputes. Your KuroAccount is unified across Android, iOS, the Kuro PC launcher and Steam, but the Rainbow Card balance is stored per store of purchase: RC bought through Google Play only show up in an Android session, RC bought through the App Store only show up in iOS. This is by design at Kuro Games, not a bug or a region lock. Before checkout, pick the Android or iOS tab that matches the store you intend to spend Rainbow Cards on. Account progress — Commandant level, Constructs, Memories — is platform-agnostic; only the premium-currency wallet is split.

Monthly Card and Battle Pass: what to keep active

The Monthly Card costs 30 Rainbow Cards and runs for 30 days: 300 Black Cards drop on activation, then 100 BC arrive daily for the full cycle. That works out to 3,300 Black Cards per Monthly Card, equivalent to roughly 330 RC through the exchange — the subscription pays back inside the first week. The Battle Pass follows the version cadence (around six weeks) and splits into a free track of Skill Points, Cogs and materials, plus paid tiers: the standard premium tier at 30 RC adds Black Cards, Trade Vouchers and Construct shards, while the Premium+ tier at 68 RC layers on ten extra levels and an exclusive coating outfit. On the 4.4 cycle the coating ties into The Dying Sun storyline.

Gacha without 50/50: how the limited-banner pity works

PGR's pity is among the most generous in the gacha-RPG space. The standard Member Recruit gives the first S-Rank Construct at 40 pulls and subsequent ones at 60, with the counter carrying over. On a limited Theme Banner the hard pity is 60 pulls, with a soft pity layer: the featured S-Rank has roughly a 70% chance to drop on the 60th pull, and if it doesn't, the next 60-pull cycle guarantees it. There is no 50/50 mechanic — you do not lose the featured Construct to a standard-pool pull. Duplicates do not go to waste either: each dupe raises the Construct's rank from S to SS to SSS, unlocking additional Core Passive slots. SSS is the ceiling for one model.

Constructs and Frames: same character, different bodies

A Construct in PGR is the consciousness of a fallen soldier transferred into a robotic Frame. That is why Lucia: Crimson Abyss, Lucia: Lotus, Lucia: Plume and Lucia: Pyroath are the same Construct (Lucia) in different Frames, not different characters. The word after the colon names the Frame, which carries its own kit and damage type. A Frame is not a skin: each one plays as a separate combat unit with its own skill set. The protagonist trio of the Gray Raven squad — Lucia, Liv and Bianca — is joined by new Constructs (Karenina, Watanabe, Kamui and others) every patch. Every account also receives a free S-Rank Construct Pick in the in-game mail. Veteran guides recommend redeeming it after the first 40-pull pity on Member Recruit, otherwise you risk turning two distinct S-Ranks into a single SS-Rank dupe.

3-Ping, Matrix and Memories: what to know about combat

Combat revolves around six Signal Orbs in three colours along the bottom rail. Lining up three matching orbs and tapping any of them triggers a 3-Ping, the empowered attack at the heart of PGR's damage profile. A perfect dodge opens Matrix, a slowmo window where every pulsing orb counts as a 3-Ping on a single tap. Without Matrix mastery you cannot post top scores in Phantom Pain Cage or clear Norman Revival Plan. Each Construct also runs a Memories (Consciousness Chips) grid — six slots with fixed positioning, where 01-03 take only the HP/CRIT versions and 04-06 take only the ATK/DEF versions. Set names reference real scientists and composers (Newton, Einstein, Feynman, Bach), which the lore reframes as digitised consciousnesses of historical minds. Version 4.4 adds the Feynman set to the rotation.

Endgame in 2026: PPC, War Zone, Babel Tower, Norman Revival Plan

The bulk of Black Card farming runs through Phantom Pain Cage (PPC), a weekly boss rush with three attempts on weekdays and nine on weekends; eight weekly missions hand out Phantom Pain Skulls, Black Cards and Trade Vouchers. War Zone is the wave-clear mode that scores you on style and is the second major BC source. Babel Tower is the event-based ranked mode with rotating modifiers, refreshed every few patches. The hardest tier is Norman Revival Plan, which demands several built teams, real fluency with Matrix and QTE swaps, and is the sole source of Tantalum Ore for CUB shards and 6-star Weapon Resonance Shards. Stocking up on Black Cards before a major version flip is sensible if you push these modes.

Steam launch, servers and Role ID

The Steam release in February 2026 is recent, and cross-save between Android, iOS, the Kuro PC launcher and Steam runs through KuroAccount as long as the server region matches. The Global client offers three servers — Europe, Asia-Pacific and North America — and Europe is the practical pick for players in regions where the official store has limited card support. CN, TW, JP and KR are separate clients with their own servers and top-up flows. Server transfers are not available and progress does not migrate between servers. The Steam build advertises Russian text localisation, but there is no Russian voice track — voiceover is limited to Mandarin, Cantonese and Japanese. The Role ID required for top-up is found in Menu → Profile by tapping the Construct portrait in the top-left corner.

How to place a top-up on Brawl Games

  1. Open Menu → Profile in PGR and copy your Role ID.
  2. Pick a Rainbow Card denomination (5, 28, 34, 59, 71, 119, 299 or 600) or the Monthly Card.
  3. Choose the platform tab — Android or iOS — that matches the wallet you want the RC delivered to.
  4. Enter the Role ID and pick the server (Europe / Asia-Pacific / North America).
  5. Confirm the details and complete payment; delivery lands on the selected wallet.

  • Wuthering Waves — Kuro Games' open-world action with Astrites and the Lunite Subscription; the QTE swaps and Concerto loop carry PGR's combat DNA.
  • Honkai Impact 3rd — the closest genre neighbour: 3D action gacha with Valkyries instead of Constructs, ping mechanics and QTE chains.
  • Zenless Zone Zero — HoYoverse's urban action title with Monochrome/Polychrome and a swap system that PGR players read fluently.
  • NIKKE: Goddess of Victory — a different post-apocalyptic gacha with robotic protagonists, this time built on shooter mechanics, sharing the setting tone.

The Brawl Games catalogue covers Rainbow Card denominations from 5 to 600, the Monthly Card and Battle Pass activations for the current 4.4 "The Dying Sun" cycle. Checkout asks for the Role ID, a Global-client server (Europe / Asia-Pacific / North America) and the platform tab — Android or iOS — without taking the KuroAccount login. Payment is accepted from Russia and the CIS; the on-site chat is available for questions about a specific pack or order status.
