Pratfall is a game about falling in the most literal sense. You and up to three friends dive into a crumbling cave, dig, blast through rock and tumble down collapsing tunnels to rescue a lost dog. There's no tidy platforming here — there's ragdoll physics, momentum and the constant feeling that the floor under you is about to vanish. Every descent turns into a comedy of clumsy falls, accidental explosions and frantic attempts to catch a flying teammate. What kind of game it is

Pratfall was made by Quad Head and launched on April 20, 2026. Genre-wise it's an action-adventure wrapped in co-op: part physics sandbox, part descent survival. You don't fight enemies in the usual sense — you fight the cave itself. Rock collapses, lava reacts to what you do, ice sends you sliding, and any tool in a teammate's hands can end in a shared plunge into the void. The game is deliberately unserious: it's about laughing at your own failures, not about flawless runs.

Biomes and the descent

The cave is split into several biomes, and each one changes the rules under your feet:

  • Dirt Cave — the entry-level, most forgiving layer, perfect for learning to dig and to fall.
  • Ice Cave — slippery surfaces where braking is nearly impossible: momentum rules here.
  • Lava Cave — fire hazards and reactive terrain that answers your explosions.

The arsenal holds more than thirty items: pickaxes, drills, flares, ziplines and other gadgets that are equally good for clearing a path and for causing chaos. Half the fun is that the tool which just saved you can easily become the reason the whole team wipes. The caves are procedurally generated, so no two runs are alike: what was a safe path yesterday can turn into a trap today.

Co-op and voice chat

Online co-op is the heart of Pratfall. The comfortable party size is four: that's where the biomes, hazard placement and physics interactions shine best. The developer describes the scale honestly — four is safe, eight is rough, twelve is ambitious, and custom mode nominally stretches to 250 players (with the caveat that a weak PC won't survive that). A real treat is the built-in proximity voice chat: a teammate beside you comes through at full volume, while someone who dropped fifty meters down a shaft fades out. No Discord needed. There's also a solo mode with the same objectives, biomes and physics — if you want to practice your falls alone.

What's in the gift

This is the base version of Pratfall — the complete game, nothing cut. The game also has a separate Supporter Pack add-on, but it is not included in this gift — here you get the game itself only. The product variants on this page differ only in which region the gift lands in; their contents are identical.

Regions and how to pick yours

Pratfall is delivered as a Steam Gift, and Steam gifts have a hard rule: your account region must match the gift region. That's why there are two variants here, with different country coverage. One covers a wide pool of regions, the other a narrow one. To get it right, open Steam → "Account" and check your store country, then choose the variant that covers it. One more important condition: Pratfall must not already be in the recipient account's library — Steam won't let you accept a gift for a game you already own.

How we deliver the gift

Delivery goes through a bot. After payment the bot adds itself to your friends via the invite link, sends the gift, and leaves your friends list once it's delivered — you don't need to accept the request manually.
