Party Animals: a fluffy brawl impossible to take seriously
Picture kittens, puppies and other soft critters wearing dead-serious faces while they slap each other with floppy paws, fling opponents toward the ledge and tumble off right after them, because the physics here lives its own chaotic life. That's Party Animals — a physics-based party brawler by Recreate Games, where the winner is decided not by frame-perfect combos but by who avoids falling into the void and paddles back to safety. Every match turns into comedy: you've got your rival in a death grip, then you both lose your footing on slippery ice and roll off together to a chorus of laughter.
On this page you're buying Party Animals as a Steam Gift: our bot sends the game to you straight in Steam. Below we cover how the editions differ, what the Commercial License is, how the gift delivery works, and which conditions matter so your gift actually arrives.
What the game is and why it's fun
Party Animals is built around local and online mayhem for up to eight players. The controls are deliberately floppy: your character doesn't sprint like a soldier, it waddles, slips and grabs onto everything — which is exactly where the signature humour comes from. Arenas throw conveyor belts, swaying platforms and water at you, where a critter flails and drowns unless it paddles out. It's the perfect game to call friends over for, on the couch or in voice chat: skill matters, but luck and absurdity matter just as much.
Party Animals shares its genre with other goofy «shove-'em-off» games: if you enjoy physics chaos, also check out Fall Guys with its survival races, the rough scuffles of Gang Beasts, and the co-op acrobatics of Human Fall Flat. Party Animals sits between them: cuter than Gang Beasts and more «hands-on» than Fall Guys.
Editions: Standard and Deluxe
There are two full editions of the game on the storefront — both contain the complete base Party Animals, the only difference is the bonuses.
- Standard is the whole game: every mode, arena and online multiplayer. If you just want to play and don't care about cosmetics, this is plenty.
- Deluxe Edition is the same base plus a nice bundle: 1300 Nemo Bucks (premium currency used for store skins), bathrobe outfits for Harry, Coco and Garfat together with avatars and profile frames, and golden skins for Nemo, Macchiato and Coco. It's essentially a starter «style pack» for those who want to stand out on the arena right away and have a stash of premium currency.
Important: both Standard and Deluxe are the full game — you don't need to buy the base separately. Pick Deluxe if you want cosmetics and Nemo Bucks up front; pick Standard if you only need the gameplay.
Commercial License — what it is and who needs it
Listed separately is the Party Animals — Commercial License. This is not a standalone copy of the game and not a way to «get Party Animals cheaper». The license is for those who show the game publicly and commercially: gaming cafes, board-game bars, venues, tournaments and events. For it to work, the base Party Animals must already be installed on the account — the license sits on top of the game, it doesn't replace it. A regular player at home doesn't need it; if you just want to play with friends, Standard or Deluxe from the «Editions» tab is what you want.
How the Steam Gift delivery works
Party Animals here is delivered not as a key but as an actual Steam Gift via our bot. The mechanic is simple and asks almost nothing of you:
- You provide a friend invite link (s.team/p/...) and specify your Steam account region.
- The bot adds itself as your friend and sends the gift — you don't need to accept the friend request.
- Steam Guard is not required: the gift arrives even on an account without it.
- Once you accept the gift, the bot automatically removes itself from your friends.
The whole process usually takes a couple of minutes from checkout. We don't promise hard timers — sometimes it's a touch faster, sometimes a touch slower, but it's typically a quick delivery.
Two conditions, without which the gift won't arrive
There are just two things worth checking ahead of time — they're the most common reasons any Steam gift fails:
- Account region = gift region. Steam ties gifts to a region. Pick the storefront variant that matches your Steam account region, otherwise the system simply won't let you accept the gift.
- You must not already own the game. Steam won't let you accept a gifted copy of a game you already have. If you already own Party Animals, the gift won't activate.
One more small thing: your profile privacy settings must allow friend requests, otherwise the bot can't reach you.
Platform and compatibility
This is the Steam (PC) version. After you accept the gift, Party Animals lands in your Steam library like any normal game — just launch and play. For shared matches, invite friends in Steam or join online lobbies; local same-screen multiplayer is supported too if you plug in controllers.
In short, before you buy
If you want the game itself — pick Standard or Deluxe (Deluxe = base + Nemo Bucks + cosmetics). Get the Commercial License only if you show the game publicly and already own the base. Before checkout, check your account region and make sure Party Animals isn't already in your library. The bot handles the rest — all that's left is to accept the gift and call your friends over for a fluffy brawl.
