Moving Out 2 — the co-op moving sim where the furniture suffers first
Moving Out 2 is the sequel to the gleefully ridiculous physics-based moving simulator from Australia's SMG Studio together with DevM Games, published by Team17 on August 15, 2023. You once again suit up as a F.A.R.T. operative — a Furniture Arrangement & Relocation Technician — and clear out every house by any means available: through the door, through the window, through the wall. Speed is what matters; whether you're careful is entirely up to you. What you buy here is a global Steam key for the full game: activate it on Steam and call your crew.
What's new compared to the first game
Where the original Moving Out stayed in the sleepy town of Packmore, the sequel adds inter-dimensional portals. Between regular jobs you get pulled into completely absurd dimensions — from pixel worlds to places where physics does whatever it likes. On top of the familiar chaos there are new interaction mechanics, even more breakable objects, and levels designed specifically to turn best friends against each other on the same couch.
Co-op for up to four players
The main reason to grab Moving Out 2 is playing together. It supports up to 4 players: local on a single screen (couch co-op) and online with cross-play between platforms. You can finish it solo, but the real laughter starts when four of you try to wedge a king-size bed through a doorway the width of a stool. Local co-op needs only one copy; for online play each participant needs their own copy.
Assist mode and accessibility
SMG is known for caring about accessibility. Moving Out 2 includes an Assist mode and a wide set of options: you can remove the timer, slow the game down, or make carrying items easier. That means you can sit anyone at the table — from a little sibling to parents who "don't really do video games." The game is deliberately cartoony, welcoming, and about shared chaos rather than esports reflexes.
Moving Out 2 editions
The Standard version is the full game with all levels and co-op, and that's exactly what this key delivers. Beyond it the game also has a Deluxe Edition (adding a 250+ page digital art book, the original soundtrack, hours of behind-the-scenes developer commentary and 3D-printable models — fan extras, not new levels) and a Moving Out 1+2 bundle with both games in the series. If you only care about the gameplay and co-op, the base version is all you need.
How the gameplay loop works
Each level is its own job: a little house, a farm, a haunted mansion or a warehouse in another dimension entirely. The goal is to load every marked piece of furniture into the truck before time runs out. Speed and optional bonus objectives (move everything, break nothing, beat a tight limit) earn stars that unlock new locations. Objects behave with honest physics: the couch snags on the doorframe, the fish tank slips out of your hands, glass shatters. That's where the comedy comes from — the "let's carry it carefully" plan almost always turns into "throw it out the window and sort it out downstairs."

This key gives you the full base game Moving Out 2 with all campaign levels, co-op modes, inter-dimensional worlds and the full set of accessibility options. It's not a demo or an add-on but a complete game — you don't need to buy anything extra to finish it start to end. The bonus materials from the Deluxe Edition (art book, soundtrack, commentary) don't affect the gameplay itself.
Activating the key on Steam
After ordering you receive a code. Open the Steam client, click «Games» in the bottom-left → «Activate a Product on Steam», enter the key, and Moving Out 2 appears in your library. The key is global and activates in any region without a VPN. The game supports 13 languages including Russian and runs comfortably on Steam Deck — controller support and Assist mode make it easy on the couch or on the go.
