MAZEBOUND: Hunt, Gather, Run! โ co-op survival horror in a procedural maze
MAZEBOUND: Hunt, Gather, Run! drops you by a towering gate in the middle of the sea. Beyond it: nothing but the maze โ procedurally built, different every run, and any run could be your last. There are no cozy checkpoints or hand-holding markers here. There's you, the dark between the walls, and the simple rule baked into the title โ hunt, gather, run. The game was made by Absam Studios and released on Steam on May 13, 2026.
Buying from us gets you the full version of MAZEBOUND as a Steam gift straight into your own library โ no shared accounts, no foreign logins. The game is yours and stays on your Steam.
What the game is and why it pulls you in
MAZEBOUND mixes survival crafting with horror. By day the maze is bearable: you can tear branches for torches, smash crates for scraps, pick berries, light a fire and scout in relative calm. By night the walls seem to close in โ it gets darker, deadlier, and whatever roams the corridors starts taking you seriously. The whole loop is about prepping while it's light and surviving once it's dark.
Crafting isn't filler. From wood, stone and debris you build weapons, put together crude defenses, set up light sources and hold your ground as the maze tightens. Resources aren't endless, so every scavenging trip is a tiny gamble: push deeper or fall back to the fire.
Solo or with friends
MAZEBOUND can be played solo or in online co-op. Solo, everything rests on you: scouting, crafting and defense alike. In co-op the work splits up โ someone hunts and hauls resources, someone builds and holds the camp, and at night you cover each other. The maze isn't kinder to a group, but shared panic is a lot more fun.
Hardcore Mode: when death is permanent
For players who find the usual tension too soft, there's a Hardcore Mode. In it death becomes permanent, resources matter far more, and the night maze turns into a real test. It's a mode about cold calculation: one wrong step out of camp at the wrong time and the run is over. If you like real stakes, this is your format.
What's included and what it runs on
You get the base game MAZEBOUND: Hunt, Gather, Run! in full โ this is not a demo or a cut-down version. The game runs on PC under Windows (64-bit); there are no separate macOS or Linux builds. Both single-player and online co-op are supported.
How we deliver MAZEBOUND (Steam Gift)
We send the game via the Steam gift system. We need two things from you: a Steam friend invite link (s.team/p/...) and your Steam account region. The rest is on our bot: it adds itself to your friends, sends the gift, and removes itself once delivered. You don't need to accept the request manually, and Steam Guard is not required for any of this.
For the gift to land smoothly, keep two conditions in mind. First: your Steam account region must match the gift region โ so pick the option for your region. Second: MAZEBOUND must not already be in your library on that account โ Steam won't let you accept a gift for a game you already own. Also check your privacy settings: friend requests must be allowed, otherwise the bot can't add you.
On timing โ the gift usually arrives within a couple of minutes after checkout, but that's not a hard SLA: occasionally it takes a bit longer. Hiccups are rare, as with any service like this, and we try to sort them out quickly.
Atmosphere and why it's horror, not just crafting
The real fear in MAZEBOUND isn't a jump-scare around the corner โ it's the maze itself. The walls look the same, landmarks are scarce, the torch burns out, and the layout is new every run, so getting lost in the dark is just part of the deal. You're constantly weighing it: is there enough light to make it back to camp, should you turn around now, will you finish your defenses before it's fully dark. That quiet panic of "I'm not sure where I am or how much time I have left" keeps the tension up better than any monster on screen.

In short
