Lords of the Fallen β a Steam gift for a dark soulslike of two worlds
Lords of the Fallen (2023) is a large-scale soulslike action-RPG from studio Hexworks and publisher CI Games, released on October 13, 2023. It is not a remaster of the 2014 game but a full reboot with a new hero, a new map, and far more ambitious systems. You travel the dark-fantasy land of Mournstead, fighting horrors with melee and magic, banking vigor instead of souls, and trying not to lose your whole stash to the first ambush. Here you get the game as a Steam gift: after payment our bot adds you as a friend, sends the gift, and leaves on its own β you just accept it and the game stays in your library for good.
Two worlds on one screen β Axiom and Umbral
The defining hook of Lords of the Fallen is its dual world. Axiom is the realm of the living, your main route. Umbral is the flip side β the realm of the dead, overlaid on the same space. Raise the Umbral Lamp and you see through the veil between worlds: bridges appear, barriers vanish, hidden paths open up, but otherworldly creatures crawl out to drag you down with them. Die in Axiom and you fully fall into Umbral: it is your second chance, yet the longer you linger there, the more aggressive the world becomes. This two-reality mechanic is the reason to try the game and what sets it apart from any other soulslike.
What kind of game it is, and who it is for
If you enjoy Dark Souls, Elden Ring, or Lies of P, Lords of the Fallen speaks your language: stamina, parries, dodge rolls, checkpoints, and bosses that teach you patience. The combat is faster and more aggressive than classic Souls, leaning into combos and magic schools. Builds are flexible β a pure heavy-armor greatsword knight, an inferno mage, or a hybrid. Two-player online co-op lets you run the whole campaign with a friend. If you want a handsome, grim, and fairly merciless fantasy, this is a strong pick.
Editions: Standard and Deluxe
We offer two Steam-gift variants, and both contain the full game β these are editions, not DLC layered on top of a base:
- Standard Edition β the complete base game of Lords of the Fallen with no extra cosmetic packs. Everything you need to play the campaign start to finish.
- Deluxe Edition β the same complete game plus the Dark Crusader bundle: the Dark Crusader starting class, the Dark Crusader armour and weapon set (Isaac's Longsword, Holy Light explosives, a full armour set, and the Paladin's Pendant), a 100-page digital artbook, the digital soundtrack, and a 3D model viewer. These are cosmetics and bonus materials for players who want a strong start and nice extras β they don't change the story or the playable content.
Note: Deluxe is not an "upgrade that needs the game already owned." It is a standalone full edition with everything inside. Pick Standard if you just want to play, and Deluxe if you want the Crusader starter set and the digital materials.
How you receive the gift
Delivery runs through the Steam Gift system. At checkout you provide the friend-invite link from your Steam profile and your account region. Our bot then adds itself as a friend, sends the gift, and automatically leaves once delivered β no need to accept anything manually. Steam Guard is not required, and the account doesn't need to have played or owned the game beforehand. The whole thing usually takes a couple of minutes after payment, though that is not a hard guarantee β sometimes it runs a little longer.
About region β read before buying
A Steam gift is accepted only if your account region matches the gift's region, and provided the game is not already in your library β Steam won't let you accept a gift for a title you already own. So before paying, make sure you don't already own Lords of the Fallen and that your account region fits the variant you chose. If something doesn't match, the gift simply won't go through, so it's best to check in advance. Also make sure your profile privacy settings allow friend requests, otherwise the bot can't reach you.
Platform and compatibility
This is a key/gift specifically for Steam (PC). The game runs on Windows, supports a controller, and offers a single-player campaign with optional online co-op. On Steam Deck, playability depends on current patches and your graphics settings β the game is demanding, so a handheld run benefits from dialing settings down. Once activated, the game stays on your account permanently, like anything bought on Steam.
