LEGO DC Super-Villains: become the villain the DC universe has been waiting for
With LEGO DC Super-Villains, TT Games finally did what fans had wanted for years — it handed the lead role not to Batman and the Justice League, but to you as a brand-new super-villain. You create your own character in the editor, unlock new powers as the story unfolds, and cause chaos in a world where the "real" heroes have suddenly vanished and a suspicious new team, the Justice Syndicate, has taken their place. It's a warm, funny and surprisingly large game — with signature LEGO destruction, two-player co-op and dozens of recognisable DC faces. Here at Brawl Games you get it as a Steam Gift: the game lands in your library and stays there for good.
What kind of game it is and why it's worth your time
It's an action-adventure with open hub worlds, build-smash-rebuild puzzles and tons of collectibles. The story carries you through Metropolis, Gotham, the League's bases and outer space, while your custom villain picks up powers like freeze, teleport, electricity and magic along the way — the game actively rewards replaying levels with new abilities. A voice cast long associated with DC animation, jokes packed into every cutscene and same-screen co-op make LEGO DC Super-Villains great for a solo evening as well as for playing with a kid or a partner.
Editions: Standard and Deluxe Edition
There are two versions of the game itself in the catalogue. Standard is the full LEGO DC Super-Villains: the whole story, the character creator and the open world. Deluxe Edition is the same game plus the Season Pass, which adds:
- 6 extra story levels based on other corners of DC: two from the 2018 Aquaman film, two from Shazam! (2019), one from the animated movie Batman: Mask of the Phantasm (1993) and one from the "Summit" episode of the Young Justice series.
- Character packs: heroes and villains from the Arrowverse TV shows, a Justice League Dark pack and a DCEU movie character pack.
- The digital Justice League Dark Character Pack bonus — the very pack that came as a Deluxe digital exclusive.
The base game is included in both versions — there's nothing separate to buy. If you want maximum content and don't mind playing through the bonus levels, go Deluxe; if you only care about the main story, Standard is enough.
Game bundles: more LEGO in one purchase
Besides the editions there are two multi-game collections from TT Games — the gift delivers all games in the set, not just one:
- LEGO DC Heroes & Villains Bundle — LEGO DC Super-Villains paired with LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, where Batman and the DC heroes head into space to stop Brainiac.
- The LEGO Games Bundle — four games: LEGO DC Super-Villains, LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, The LEGO Movie Videogame and The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame.
Handy if you're stocking up a LEGO library. One key thing about gifts: for Steam to accept a bundle, none of the included games may already be on the account.
How we deliver the gift
Delivery goes through our Steam bot. We need two things from you: your friend invite link (open your Steam profile → "Add Friend" → copy the s.team/p/... link) and your Steam account region. The bot then adds itself to your friends, sends the gift, and removes itself after delivery — you don't have to approve any friend request. You do accept the gift itself manually: a notification appears in the Steam client, you click "Accept", and the game is in your library. The whole thing usually takes a couple of minutes from payment.
Region and key conditions
The gift is region-bound, so your Steam account region must match the gift region — otherwise Steam simply won't let you accept it. The second mandatory condition: the selected game (or, for a bundle, none of its games) may already be in the recipient's library — it must NOT. Steam Guard is not required to accept a gift, but your privacy settings must allow friend requests, or the bot can't reach you. If your profile is closed or the link is stale, just enable friend requests and send a fresh link — we'll retry delivery.
Into LEGO games? Take a look at these too
If the TT Games vibe clicks, check out related titles from the same studio and universe: LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham (which, by the way, is part of both bundles above), the superhero romp LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 and the family-friendly LEGO The Incredibles. All bring the same signature humour, co-op and the joy of smashing things and rebuilding them.
The short version
LEGO DC Super-Villains is a charming, inventive and unexpectedly villainous game where, for once, you play the bad guys. Grab Standard for the story, Deluxe for the Season Pass with its Aquaman and Shazam levels, or a whole LEGO bundle if you want several titles at once. You order it as a Steam Gift, the bot handles delivery, and the game stays yours forever.
