Blocky Batman rallies the entire Justice League and blasts off into space to stop Brainiac, who is shrinking whole planets into his collection. Over 150 DC heroes and villains, rings from every Lantern Corps, TT Games' signature humour and two-player co-op. You get the game as a Steam gift — choose the base game, Premium with all DLC, or a bundle with other LEGO games.

Once the gift is delivered it cannot be refunded. If Steam rejects the gift due to region mismatch, the full amount is returned to your site balance.

What the game is and why people still play it

The story is a solid superhero blockbuster with TT Games' trademark humour: heroes' grand speeches keep collapsing into self-parody, and cutscenes poke fun at comic-book clichés. The gameplay is classic LEGO: smash everything into bricks, rebuild them into gadgets, swap between characters for their unique abilities, and clear each level to 100%. The third game's big addition is a sprawling space hub and the Lantern Worlds: you fly between Lantern Corps planets, and each ring (green, yellow, red, blue, orange, indigo) has its own mechanic. Two-player same-screen co-op remains one of the best reasons to fire it up with a friend or a kid.

Base game or Premium Edition

There are two "clean" editions in the catalogue:

  • Base game — the full LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham with the entire main campaign, the space hub and the huge character roster. That's plenty for dozens of hours of playthrough and full completion.
  • Premium Edition — the base game plus the Season Pass with all six DLC packs: The Squad Pack, Arrow Pack, Batman 75th Anniversary Pack, The Dark Knight Pack, Man of Steel Pack and Bizarro World Pack. These are extra themed levels with their own story and free-play modes, new vehicles and over 40 additional characters in total. If you want maximum content from the start, go Premium — no need to buy the DLC separately later.

Mind the difference: the Premium Edition already contains the base game inside, so you don't buy it separately. The Season Pass on its own (if you come across it) is a DLC set that requires the base game.

Region and compatibility

The key condition for the gift is a region match: your Steam account region must match the region of the chosen variant, or Steam won't accept the gift. So at checkout enter your real account region, not the one you'd like. The game is the Windows PC version; on Steam Deck and Linux it runs through Proton, there's no native Linux build, but TT Games' classic LEGO titles usually run smoothly on the Deck.
