Kingdom Come: Deliverance II — medieval Bohemia with no shortcuts on realism
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is a first-person historical RPG released by Warhorse Studios on 4 February 2025 under Deep Silver. It's set in 1403 Bohemia, and there are no dragons, no magic and no fantasy conveniences here — just real medieval Europe, political scheming, bandit-ridden roads and the heavy ring of steel. You once again play as Henry, a blacksmith's son dragged from the mud into noble halls through tournaments, sieges and betrayals. Why this entry outdoes the first
The sequel grows in every direction: two vast open regions instead of one, a living Kuttenberg — one of the richest cities in medieval Europe — reworked combat with melee and ranged weapons, early firearms and dozens of systems that react to what you do. Reputation, appearance, the smell of blood on your clothes, hunger and fatigue — the world notices the details. It's still a game where you can lose a brawl to a single drunk peasant if you never learned to hold a sword, and that honesty is exactly why people love it.
Which versions and add-ons are here
This page bundles both the base game and all of its add-ons. The base Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is the game itself — this is what you activate to play. After that come the DLC, each of which needs the base game already installed on the same account:
- Expansion Pass — the season bundle that unlocks Shields of Seasons Passing plus the three major story expansions at once: Brushes with Death, Legacy of the Forge and Mysteria Ecclesiae. Handy if you want everything in one go.
- Brushes with Death — released 15 May 2025. A story about a mysterious artist with a dark past whom you help.
- Legacy of the Forge — released 9 September 2025. An add-on about heritage: Henry returns to his father's craft and restores the family forge in Kuttenberg.
- The Lion's Crest — originally a pre-order bonus, on sale separately since 28 March 2025. A chain of trials where you earn the right to wear the armour and weapons of the famous knight Brunswick.
- Gallant Huntsman's Kit — a huntsman's gear set for Henry, part of the Gold Edition.
- Shields of Seasons Passing — four unique shield designs, a cosmetic season-pass bonus available from day one.
If you don't own the main game yet, start with the base version and stack the add-ons on top to taste.
Key regions — pick the right one
These are regional keys and they only activate within their matching Steam region. The catalog carries versions for CIS, Latin America (LATAM) and Rest of World (ROW). Before buying, check which country your Steam account is registered in and choose the matching option — otherwise Steam won't accept the code. There's no “global versus 47 regions” thing here: just grab the key for your region and it activates normally.
How to activate
It's the standard Steam flow: open the client, in the top menu click “Games” → “Activate a Product on Steam”, enter the code you received and confirm. The base game downloads and launches right away. For DLC, an activated Kingdom Come: Deliverance II must already be installed — then the add-on attaches to it automatically. The key works on PC and on Steam Deck: the game is demanding, but it installs into your library as usual.

A few things to know before buying
There's no subscription here: the base game and every add-on are full purchases that stay on your Steam account forever. If you're unsure where to begin, grab the base version for your region — it's dozens of hours of play without a single DLC. The story expansions (Brushes with Death, Legacy of the Forge) and the Expansion Pass are best added once you're hooked on the world and want more stories and gear. Cosmetic bonuses like Shields of Seasons Passing and the Gallant Huntsman's Kit don't affect progression — they're nice extras for players who like dressing up Henry and his shield. The simple rule: base first, add-ons after, all within the same Steam region.
