Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number — the bloody finale of the neon saga
Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number is a top-down action game by Sweden's Dennaton Games (Dennis Wedin and Jonatan Söderström) and publisher Devolver Digital, released on March 10, 2015. A direct sequel to the cult 2012 Hotline Miami, this chapter closes out the story of masks, contract killings and a hallucinatory 1980s Miami. Everything you loved is here: lightning-fast runs through floors you clear room by room, where a single bullet decides the outcome, a frantic pace, ultra-violence and a hypnotic synthwave soundtrack that pulls you into a trance and lets you sweep a level in one breath.

What the game is and why it hooks you
Where the first game was about one person in an animal mask, Wrong Number unfolds a whole kaleidoscope of characters around the events of the original: fans of "Jacket", copycats, a journalist, a soldier, a film director and more — each with their own style, masks and angle on the same blood-soaked universe. The story is non-linear in time, jumping across 1985–1991 and assembling in your head like a mosaic. The gameplay is harsher and bigger than the original: larger levels, more enemies, a tighter margin for error. This is a game about reaction, learning patterns, and that feeling when a clean run becomes a perfect deadly dance.
The series' trump card is the music. Tracks by M.O.O.N, Scattle, Carpenter Brut, Perturbator, MegaDrive and others set a pulse you literally want to move to. Sound here isn't background — it's part of the game design.
The editions we offer
There are two options in our catalog, and both are the full game, not an add-on:
- Standard Edition — the base, complete version of Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number with the full campaign, all characters, modes and the in-level soundtrack.
- Digital Special Edition — the same complete game plus bonuses: the Wrong Number Remix EP (six remixes by M.O.O.N, Scattle and Carpenter Brut) and the Jacket Character Pack crossover set for PAYDAY 2 (a character and items based on "Jacket").
One honest note: the full 49-track soundtrack is not included in either edition — it's a separate Steam item whose proceeds go to the artists. So if you specifically want the full album, you'll need to buy it separately. The game itself is equally complete in both Standard and Special.
How the gift is delivered
The mechanic is simple and safe for your account:
- In the order fields you provide your Steam friend invite link and your account region.
- After payment our bot adds itself to your friends via that link and sends the gift. You don't need to accept the friend request — it adds itself.

On Steam, Hotline Miami 2 runs on Windows, macOS and Linux (including SteamOS) and feels great on Steam Deck — gamepad controls work fine here, though the genre classic is mouse and keyboard. Once you accept the gift, the game is tied to your account and available on all your Steam devices, with cloud saves.

Wrong Number is a direct sequel, and to fully understand the story it makes sense to start with the original. Check out Hotline Miami to play the story from the beginning.
