About the game

Graveyard Keeper is the most inaccurate medieval cemetery management sim ever, from Lazy Bear Games. You receive the full game as a Steam gift to your account.

Once the gift is delivered it cannot be refunded. If Steam rejects the gift due to region mismatch, the full amount is returned to your site balance.
Available items are processed automatically. Any issues will be resolved starting from 9:00 MSK.

Your Steam account region must match the gift region, and you must not already own Graveyard Keeper. Pick the option for your region.

FAQ

Graveyard Keeper: a medieval cemetery as a business

Graveyard Keeper is "the most inaccurate medieval cemetery management sim ever," made by Lazy Bear Games. It launched on August 15, 2018 and quickly became a cult favorite among fans of slow-burn management RPGs with pitch-black humor. You're dropped into a gloomy medieval village as the new graveyard keeper — and from there, everything depends on how flexible your conscience turns out to be.

This listing is the base game delivered as a Steam gift sent straight to your account by our bot. Below is what's included, how it works, and what to check before ordering.

What the game is about

By day you tend the graveyard: you receive bodies, perform autopsies, and decide what to do with them — bury them with dignity or repurpose organs and bones for your own ends. Grave quality drives your cemetery's "rating," which in turn boosts the income from church sermons. Alongside that you grow a whole estate: build workshops, mine stone and iron, brew potions in an alchemy lab, make wine, and dig through a sprawling tech tree.

The story revolves around a mystery: how you ended up here and how to get home. Along the way you meet a colorful cast — a talking advisor skull, an inquisitor, an astronomer, traders and other inhabitants of a world where morality is very much negotiable.

What this product includes

You get the base version of Graveyard Keeper. It already bakes in the free updates released over years of support, including the Breaking Dead mode — the option to put zombies to work hauling and processing resources for you.

The paid expansions are not included in this gift and can be bought separately if you want them:

  • Stranger Sins (October 28, 2019) — a tavern, new quests and events.
  • Game of Crone (October 27, 2020) — a separate story campaign with new survival mechanics.
  • Better Save Soul (October 28, 2021) — a deeper soul and body-quality system.

All three expansions require the base game — meaning this product is exactly the foundation they later build on.

Region and account compatibility

This is a regional Steam gift. The rule is simple: your Steam account region must match the gift region, otherwise Steam won't let you accept it. Also, Graveyard Keeper must not already be in that account's library — a gift can't activate for a game you already own. If you're unsure of your account region, you can see it in Steam's account settings.

How delivery works

After ordering, our bot adds itself to your friends list via your invite link, sends the gift, and automatically leaves once it's delivered. You don't need to accept the friend request manually, and Steam Guard is not required for this. Delivery usually takes a couple of minutes from checkout. If the bot can't add you, it's almost always because friend requests are blocked in your profile or the link is outdated — refresh the link and check your privacy settings.

What you can play it on

This is the Steam PC version: Windows, macOS and Linux. The game runs great on Steam Deck — its calm pace and pixel art suit a handheld perfectly. Controls are friendly to both mouse-and-keyboard and gamepad.

Why it eats dozens of hours

Graveyard Keeper's real strength is its dense web of interlocking systems. To upgrade a grave you need quality stone; to mine that stone you have to level the right branch and build workshops; to level that branch you must gather three kinds of tech points (blue, green, red) earned from different activities. Alchemy, the forge, carpentry, winemaking, sermons, fishing, gardening and bodywork are all intertwined, and almost every action feeds into something else. It's that "just five more minutes" loop that keeps you glued to the screen well past midnight.

Fans of atmospheric crafting with alchemy will enjoy Potion Craft, while anyone who wants a bigger workshop life with crafting and a town should look at My Time at Sandrock.

Who it's for

Graveyard Keeper is for players who enjoy meditative management with deep crafting chains, dark humor and unhurried exploration. If you're ready to dig (literally) into developing your cemetery for dozens of hours, this graveyard keeper sticks with you for a long time.
