FINAL FANTASY III โ the JRPG classic that started the Job System
FINAL FANTASY III is the third entry in Square Enix's legendary series and the very game where the full Job System first came to life. Four Warriors of Light set out to restore the world's balance against an advancing Darkness, and along the way you freely switch your heroes between dozens of classes โ from Warrior and White Mage to Summoner, Ninja and Sage. This mechanic turned the third installment into a cult favorite and laid the foundation for every Final Fantasy that followed. On this page you buy the full game and receive it as a Steam gift onto your account.
Which version this is
This is FINAL FANTASY III (3D Remake) โ the version with 3D graphics, not the pixel one. Unlike the silent heroes of the 1990 original, the remake gives each of the four protagonists a name, a personality and their own story: Luneth, Arc, Refia and Ingus. The plot was reworked and expanded with added dialogue and character bonds, and the world was rebuilt in full 3D. The Steam release also added conveniences missing from earlier releases: auto-battle, 2x battle speed and a reworked interface โ all of which save real time while grinding and leveling up jobs.
What's included
You get the base FINAL FANTASY III game in full โ a complete single-player adventure with a beginning, middle and end, no mandatory add-ons and no separate paid DLC. There's no "buy the base game separately": this is the full game. Once activated it stays on your Steam account forever and launches like any other title in your library.
- The full FINAL FANTASY III (3D Remake) story campaign.
- The Job System with free class switching for your heroes.
- Auto-battle and battle speed-up in the combat system.
- Steam achievements and cloud saves.
Why the Job System hooks you
The third game's core appeal is flexibility. You're never locked into one build: new classes unlock as you progress, and each one changes a hero's role in battle. You can assemble a balanced party, or experiment โ for instance, send your team into a dungeon as goblins where regular classes are powerless. Mastering a new class carries a penalty in the first few fights, so changing jobs is always a tactical choice rather than a free button. That depth is what keeps players hooked for dozens of hours.
How you receive the game: a Steam gift
FINAL FANTASY III is delivered not as a key but as a Steam gift through our bot. It's simple: at checkout you leave your Steam friend invite link and your account region. The bot adds itself to your friends and sends the gift โ usually within a couple of minutes. You don't need to manually accept the friend request: after delivery the bot removes itself from your list. Steam Guard isn't required, and the account doesn't need any special "preparation" โ an active account with open friend requests is enough.
Region and delivery conditions
The key condition for a successful delivery is that your Steam account region must match the gift region. If the regions differ, Steam simply won't let you accept the gift. The second condition: FINAL FANTASY III must not already be in the library of the account you're ordering for โ Steam doesn't allow accepting a gift for a game you already own. So enter your real region carefully at checkout and make sure the game isn't already on the account. If the bot couldn't add you, it's almost always restricted friend requests in your profile or an expired invite link; send a fresh link and we'll complete the delivery.
Who it's for
FINAL FANTASY III is a great entry point into classic Final Fantasy for anyone who loves thoughtful turn-based JRPGs, leveling and build experimentation. If the third game clicks with you, check out its neighbors from the series' golden era too: FINAL FANTASY IV with its dramatic story and ATB system, the grander FINAL FANTASY VI, and the adventurous FINAL FANTASY V, where the Job System was developed further. All three come from the same classic Square Enix JRPG school.
Purchase in brief
You get the full FINAL FANTASY III (3D Remake) for Steam, delivered as a gift to your account usually within a couple of minutes, with no Steam Guard hassle and no separate base-game activation. The main things are a matching region and the game not already being in your library. After that, all that's left is to assemble your four Warriors of Light and set out to save the world.
