Farming Simulator 17 features over 250 machines and tools from more than 75 brands: Challenger, Fendt, Massey Ferguson, Valtra, Krone, Lindner and many more. Tractors, combines, trailers, plows, seeders and sprayers are all modeled in detail with real names and specs. This entry introduced forestry transport and a brand-new vehicle class, plus pig farming, which earlier games in the series didn't have.

Two maps and your own pace

The base game ships with two large open maps — a European landscape and a North American one, each with its own fields, forests, selling points and mood. How you play is up to you: methodically build the perfect estate, joyride machinery for fun, or harvest fields while a podcast plays. A dynamic day-night cycle, weather and a calm tempo make it a great way to unwind after a long day.

Co-op and mods

Farming Simulator 17 supports cooperative multiplayer — you can run a farm with friends and split the work: one plows, another harvests, a third hauls grain to the silo. Another huge strength is its modding workshop: the community has released thousands of free add-ons, from new machinery and maps to entire gameplay systems, all installable in a couple of clicks. Mods are what give the series near-endless replayability.
