Enshrouded: survival, building and co-op against the Shroud
Enshrouded is a co-op survival action-RPG from German studio Keen Games (the team behind Portal Knights). You awaken as the Flameborn โ the last hope of the dying world of Embervale, slowly devoured by a toxic fog called the Shroud. The Shroud has flooded the valleys and ruins, turned people into monsters, and only you can reclaim the land: light Flame Altars, expand the safe zones and push deeper into the dangerous foggy regions. Here you're buying the full game as a Steam gift โ we deliver it straight to your Steam through a bot.
What kind of game it is
Enshrouded blends three things the genre is loved for: an open world to explore, deep voxel building and a combat RPG system with progression. The world is built from voxels, so you can dig, build and reshape the terrain almost any way you like โ carve out an underground bunker or raise a castle on a cliff. Combat is third-person: sword and shield, bows, magic, staves, dodges and parries. As you play you invest points into a large skill tree and pick your style โ armored tank, nimble archer, battle mage or a hybrid.
The Shroud as the core mechanic
The Shroud isn't just scenery. The fog drains your health and runs a timer: you can only stay inside it for a limited time before you need to get back to clean air. By upgrading gear and abilities you widen that window and reach areas hiding the best loot and the Hollow Halls โ handcrafted dungeons with traps, puzzles and bosses. That loop โ enter the Shroud, grab resources and blueprints, get out, level up, build your base, go deeper โ is what carries the game.
Co-op for up to 16 players
Enshrouded is built for playing together: a single server holds up to 16 players. You can split roles โ someone builds and farms resources, someone clears dungeons, someone handles crafting. World progress is shared, so a big base is always a team project. Solo play is comfortable too: difficulty and pacing adapt to a single-player run.
Early access and the 1.0 release
The game launched in Steam Early Access on January 24, 2024, and has received regular content and balance updates since. The full 1.0 release is scheduled for October 15, 2026 on PC and PlayStation 5; an Xbox Series X|S version is announced for later. Buying now gets you the current Steam version plus all future base-game updates as they ship โ no extra charge to move to 1.0.
How we deliver the gift
Delivery is done by a bot as a Steam Gift. You provide the friend invite link from your Steam profile and your account region. The bot adds itself as your friend, sends the gift, and leaves your friends list after delivery โ you don't need to manually accept anything. Steam Guard is not required. Delivery usually takes a couple of minutes from checkout. Two Steam conditions matter: your account region must match the gift region, and Enshrouded must not already be in that account's library โ otherwise Steam won't let you accept the gift.
System notes
Enshrouded is a PC (Windows) game on Steam. It uses modern graphics and a voxel engine, so it runs best on mid-range and powerful rigs; checking the system requirements on the game's Steam page before buying is a good idea. The game doesn't have a confirmed Steam Deck "Verified" status at the time of writing โ go by the current status shown on Steam.

Why players love Enshrouded
The game's main strength is freedom. Building isn't locked to a rigid grid: thanks to voxels you shape walls, vaults, terraces and dungeons to fit the terrain, and you can rescue craftsman NPCs (blacksmith, carpenter, alchemist and more) from the Shroud and settle them at your base to unlock new recipes and upgrades. Combat doesn't punish experimentation: the skill tree lets you respec at any time and try a different style โ from a heavy armored fighter to a mobile archer-mage. And the sense of progress in Enshrouded is honest: every upgrade to your Shroud resistance opens a new slice of the world, new resources and new bosses in the Hollow Halls.
