Day and night — two different games

The signature feature of Dying Light 2 is a day-night cycle that rewrites the rules. By day the infected hide in dark buildings, and that's your window for scouting, loot and clearing points. At night the city wakes up: the creatures spill into the streets, hunters activate, and your own infection timer starts ticking — reset only under UV light or inside a safe zone. Night runs are far more dangerous, but loot and experience are worth the most then. This mechanic turns every walk through Villedor into a small tactical puzzle: make it in time, don't draw too much attention, and get home alive.

Parkour and choices that reshape the world

Movement is a joy in its own right. Rooftop jumps, slides, the grappling hook, the paraglider — over time your hero Aiden becomes a genuine acrobat and the whole city turns into a playground. On top of the action sits a branching story: you decide who gets the water tower or the power plant, whether to back the Peacekeepers or the Survivors, and those calls reshape entire districts — opening new routes, traps and conveniences for residents.

How to activate the key on Steam
