Dispatch โ€” Steam Gift

About the game

Dispatch is a story-driven interactive series from AdHoc Studio (a team of ex-Telltale devs) set in a superhero dispatch center. You play Robert Robertson III: after his mech suit gets wrecked, he takes the dispatcher's chair and runs the Z-Team โ€” a squad of reformed villains โ€” assigning missions, steering dialogue and hunting his father's killer along the way. Voiced by Aaron Paul, Jeffrey Wright and Laura Bailey. You buy it and receive the game as a Steam gift on your account.

Once the gift is delivered it cannot be refunded. If Steam rejects the gift due to region mismatch, the full amount is returned to your site balance.
Available items are processed automatically. Any issues will be resolved starting from 9:00 MSK.

Your Steam account region must match the gift region, and you must not already own Dispatch. Pick the option for your region.

FAQ

Buy Dispatch as a Steam Gift

Dispatch stands out even among indie darlings: instead of another superhero brawler, it's an episodic story about a dispatcher assigning missions to reformed villains. Here's what the game actually is, how to buy it as a Steam gift on Brawl Games, and what to check before you order. The game rolled out in eight episodes, two at a time โ€” October 22, October 29, November 5, and November 12, 2025 โ€” first on PC and PlayStation 5, with Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 versions following in late January 2026.

What Dispatch actually is: a superhero's office job after the mech breaks

Dispatch is an episodic adventure game from AdHoc Studio, founded in 2018 by Telltale Games veterans Michael Choung, Nick Herman, Dennis Lenart, and Pierre Shorette. You play Robert Robertson III, a third-generation hero known as Mecha Man โ€” he has no powers of his own, just a mechanical suit built by his grandfather. Once that suit gets wrecked in the field, Robert has to take a desk job as a dispatcher at SDN's Torrance branch โ€” a manager named Blonde Blazer talks him into it in exchange for fixing the suit โ€” keeping an eye on the Z-Team, a crew of reformed villains going through the Phoenix rehabilitation program.

Gameplay: a dispatch strategy loop, not another beat-em-up

On Steam, Dispatch is tagged across several genres at once โ€” action, adventure, casual, indie, and strategy โ€” which tracks: instead of fighting crime yourself, the game has you managing the people who do: you assign the Z-Team to emergencies around the city, read their chat banter, and make dialogue choices that shape both the plot and the relationships between characters. Every decision counts โ€” by episode three you're already forced to cut someone from the program. The roster includes Courtney, aka Invisigal, a former villain who turns invisible while holding her breath, and Chase, aka Track Star, Robert's old friend and a retired speedster who, thanks to a side effect of his powers, looks about 80 at 39.

Why a Steam gift instead of a key

Dispatch on Brawl Games is listed as a Steam gift โ€” a specific lot tied to one account region. It's a good fit if you're already playing on your main Steam account and would rather not touch any activation screen: the game lands straight in your library through a friend invite rather than a separate redeem code.

How to buy Dispatch as a gift, step by step

Place your order and give us your Steam profile. From there it goes one of two ways: either our bot adds you as a friend and sends the gift directly, or you get an invite link to accept yourself โ€” in Steam that's Friends โ†’ Add Friend โ†’ open the link you received โ†’ confirm. Either way, the game shows up in your library once it's accepted.

Regions and lots: matching the right currency

Every Dispatch lot has its own region, shown by the store currency listed on that lot's page. Check it against your own Steam account region before buying โ€” if they match, the gift goes through cleanly. If they don't, Steam will decline the gift, and the payment gets returned to your site balance rather than delivered โ€” just re-order the lot with the matching currency.

Getting Dispatch Safely: No Steam Guard Required

Accepting a gift doesn't require a Steam Guard code or your account password โ€” delivery works through Steam's own friend-invite system, and nobody on our side logs into your account. All you do is accept the invite, or wait for the bot to add you โ€” there's no scenario here where anyone signs into your account for you.

Refunds: only with an unedited single-take video

Cases like a region mismatch or the recipient already owning the game are handled through your site balance, as described above. For the rarer case where the activation attempt itself fails, a refund is only possible if you have one continuous, unedited recording โ€” no cuts, no pauses โ€” covering everything from the moment of payment to the attempt to accept the gift. Without that kind of recording, we can't process a refund.

Standard vs Digital Deluxe: what's actually included

The standard gift gets you the complete game โ€” all eight episodes of the first season, nothing trimmed. A separate Digital Deluxe edition adds a digital artbook and four digital comics set in the same world; that's a distinct listing, not a bonus bundled into the base gift. If you've got a promo code, you can apply it at checkout โ€” it'll adjust the price on the spot.

Critical Role, Aaron Paul, and the rest of the cast

Aaron Paul voices Robert Robertson, alongside Jeffrey Wright, Laura Bailey, Travis Willingham, and Matthew Mercer, plus creators jacksepticeye, MoistCr1TiKaL, Joel Haver, and Alanah Pearce, and rappers Yung Gravy and Thot Squad. In summer 2025, Critical Role announced a partnership with AdHoc, helping finance the final stretch of Dispatch's development while also working on a separate game set in their own universe โ€” a later, unrelated project rather than a Dispatch sequel.

We've been running this storefront since 2023 and keep expanding the catalog of gifts and keys. You can pay with a Russian bank card, SBP, or crypto, and there's no extra account to set up anywhere else โ€” everything happens right here on the site.
