What kind of game it is

The Dead Space series defined “survive and dismember” combat: plain headshots barely work here, and enemies must be methodically cut apart with the plasma cutter. The third entry moves the action from cramped ship corridors to the open snowfields of Tau Volantis, adding blizzards, frostbite and ancient alien ruins. Isaac still upgrades his RIG, drifts through zero gravity and fights what used to be human — but the scale is noticeably bigger.

The weapon bench and crafting

The signature mechanic of Dead Space 3 is its crafting system. Instead of a fixed arsenal you find blueprints and parts, then build weapons at the bench: you can fuse, say, a plasma cutter with a flamethrower or an electric module to create a personal gun tailored to your playstyle. Resources are gathered across the levels and by small scavenger bots, so exploring the icy depths pays off directly.

Two-player co-op

The entire Dead Space 3 campaign can be played in online co-op. The second player takes the role of soldier John Carver, and co-op unlocks extra scenes and missions that dig into his psychological trauma — content you won't see in single-player. You can drop in and out of co-op freely, and the solo campaign stays complete from start to finish.

What's included in the gift

This is the base Dead Space 3 game — the full story campaign and co-op. The Dead Space 3 Awakened story expansion, which continues the tale after the ending, is NOT part of this gift and is purchased separately. Cosmetic packs and resource bundles are also sold separately — you don't need them to finish the campaign.

How we deliver the gift

Delivery is handled through Steam Gift using our bot. You provide your Steam friend invite link and your account region when placing the order. The bot then adds itself to your friends, sends the gift (usually within a couple of minutes) and automatically removes itself after delivery — no need to accept anything manually. Steam Guard is not required for this.

The important region condition

Steam will only accept the gift if your account region matches the gift region and you don't already own the game. So enter your real region when ordering — everything hinges on it. If you already have Dead Space 3, Steam won't let you accept the gift again. Your profile must also allow friend requests, otherwise the bot can't reach you.

If you're new to the series

Dead Space 3 is the trilogy finale, but you can jump in here: the intro recaps the backstory. If you'd rather play the series in order, start with the reimagined Dead Space (the 2023 remake) and continue with Dead Space 2 — both set in the same universe of Isaac Clarke and the Necromorphs.

Platform and launch

The game targets Windows and activates in Steam like any library title once you accept the gift. On Steam Deck and Linux it runs through the Proton compatibility layer — it's not a native build, so smoothness depends on your current Proton version and settings. On a regular Windows PC you don't need any extra launchers to play once the gift is in your library.

If something goes wrong during delivery — for example the bot couldn't add you because of a private profile or an expired link — just refresh your invite link, check your privacy settings and message us, and we'll help resend it. In most cases a fresh invite link and an open profile are all it takes for the bot to reach you and complete the gift.
