Days Gone is the story of drifter biker Deacon St. John, riding across a wild post-apocalyptic Oregon two years after an outbreak turned people into aggressive infected — the "Freakers". Made by Bend Studio under Sony, it launched on PlayStation 4 in April 2019 and arrived on Steam for PC on May 18, 2021. Here you get the full PC version as a Steam gift: you place the order, our bot sends the gift, you accept it — and Days Gone stays on your account forever, with no subscriptions or rentals.

What the game is about and why it grabs you

The open world and your motorcycle sit at the center. The bike isn't just transport: you fuel it, repair it and upgrade it, and stalling in the middle of the woods with a horde behind you is a very real threat. The world runs on its own rules: weather and time of day change enemy behavior, Freakers are more numerous and aggressive at night, and human marauder camps are no less dangerous than the infected. Beyond survival there's a big personal story about Deacon and his past — a tale of loss, loyalty and holding on to your humanity in a world that came off its hinges long ago.

Hordes and the motorcycle — the heart of the game

The signature feature of Days Gone is the hordes. Not a couple of zombies around the corner, but hundreds of creatures in a single wave that move like a living flood and crush everything in their path. Prepping to clear one becomes a little puzzle: set traps, stock up on molotovs, find choke points and plan escape routes in advance. And the motorcycle is your second protagonist: on it you explore a beautiful but deadly Oregon, haul fuel and loot, outrun pursuers and build routes between survivor camps. On top of that there's hunting, crafting, missions and reputation in settlements — and since camp reputation is tied to weapon and bike upgrades, helping survivors is both the decent thing to do and simply practical.

What's included in the gift

You receive the full Days Gone PC game with the whole story, the open world and all released updates — there are no separate paid story add-ons here, the content comes as one complete package. It's the same version sold on Steam, simply delivered to you as a Steam gift on your account. There are two options on the page:

• Game 🎮 — the full Days Gone for home play. Pick the option for your Steam account region.
• Commercial License 🏢 — a special Sony SKU for commercial and public display of the game (internet cafes, gaming centers). This is not a regular home copy — for yourself, take the option from the "Game" tab.

Steam account region — the key condition

A Steam gift works like this: your account region must match the gift's region. If the regions don't line up, Steam simply won't let you accept the gift. So choose the listing for your region and enter your account country precisely at checkout. The second mandatory condition: Days Gone must not already be in the library of the account receiving the gift — Steam doesn't allow you to receive a game you already own. That's the most common reason a gift "won't accept", so check the library in advance.

How delivery works

It's as simple as it gets, no hassle. You leave your Steam friend invite link (grab it in your profile via "Add Friend") and your account region. From there our bot adds itself to your friends, sends the gift, and leaves your friends list after delivery — you don't need to accept an incoming request manually. Steam Guard is not required, and the account needs no prior activity or previously purchased games. Delivery usually takes a couple of minutes from checkout; we don't promise an exact timing, but delays are rare.

If something goes wrong

It's all fixable. If the bot couldn't add you, it's usually blocked friend requests or an expired link: open your profile privacy and send a fresh invite link, and we'll retry. If you mixed up the region and Steam rejected the transfer, the Days Gone order value is credited to your site balance, and you can use it for a new attempt with the correct region or any other game. If the game turned out to be in your library — same story, refunded to your balance. Your money doesn't burn in these cases.

System requirements and platforms

The gifted version is for PC (Windows) via Steam, with keyboard/mouse and controller support, unlocked FPS and graphics settings for modern PCs. The game also runs nicely on Steam Deck at base settings, and shines most on a desktop PC with a modern GPU. This is the Steam version specifically — it isn't tied to PlayStation and doesn't require a PS Plus subscription.
