Darksiders III — a Horseman's fury, delivered to your Steam library
Darksiders III is a dark action-adventure from Gunfire Games and publisher THQ Nordic, released on November 27, 2018. This time you're neither War nor Death — you are Fury, the fourth of the Horsemen of the Apocalypse, sent by the Charred Council to hunt down and destroy the Seven Deadly Sins roaming a ruined Earth. A whip, elemental magic and an unpredictable temper set Fury apart from the series' earlier heroes, and the game is tuned around her: less armor, more speed, a higher cost for every mistake. Here you buy Darksiders III as a Steam gift — once the order goes through, the game lands straight in your library and stays yours for good.
What the game is and why people still recommend it
In short: it's souls-like in spirit, with the signature Darksiders scale. The world is one interconnected map with no loading seams — collapsed skyscrapers, flooded districts, dungeons and the Sins' lairs woven together so new routes open up as Fury masters her elemental Hollow forms: Flame, Storm, Force and Stasis. Each form changes both combat and traversal: one lets you glide, another breaks through walls, another freezes surfaces. Fights revolve around precise dodging — evade an attack at the right moment and you earn a counter-window and soul shards. The Seven Sins are seven memorable bosses, each with its own personality and arena mechanics, from haughty Pride to ravenous Gluttony.
Editions: Standard and Deluxe
We offer two options, and the difference is simple and honest:
- Standard Edition — the Darksiders III game itself. The full campaign, all elemental forms, all Seven Sins. Story DLCs are not included here.
- Deluxe Edition — the game plus the digital soundtrack and both story add-ons: The Crucible and Keepers of the Void. If you want the complete package at once without buying DLC separately, go Deluxe.
What the DLCs add in Deluxe
The Crucible (released December 18, 2018) is an arena mode: Fury is drawn into a place where wave after wave of enemies test her. The further you push, the better the rewards, including unique items and upgrades. A great way to grind and stress-test your build.
Keepers of the Void (released February 26, 2019) is a story add-on with a new area, the Serpent Holes. Expect fresh puzzles, new enemies and bosses, and as a reward — new Hollow weapon forms and the powerful Abyssal Armor. Both add-ons released long ago and are available immediately once you get Deluxe — this is not a pre-order or future content.
How the gift delivery works
Our Steam gift flow is dialed in and asks nothing extra of you. In the order you provide your friend invite link (found in your Steam profile via “Add Friend”, a link like s.team/p/...) and your account region. Our bot then adds itself as your friend, sends the gift — usually within a couple of minutes — and automatically removes itself once delivered. You don't need to accept the friend request; it all happens on the bot's side. Steam Guard is not required — the gift can be accepted on an account without it.
Region and two key conditions
Two things decide everything — check them before you pay:
- Account region = gift region. Steam won't let you accept the gift if your account region doesn't match the gift's. So enter your Steam account country honestly.
- You must not already own the game. Steam blocks accepting a gift for a title you already own. If Darksiders III is already on the account, pick another one without it.
Your profile also needs to allow friend requests, otherwise the bot can't reach you. If the request doesn't go through, it's usually a private profile or an expired invite link — allow requests and send a fresh link.
What you can play it on
Darksiders III is a PC (Windows) game on Steam. Once you accept the gift, it installs like any purchase: download and play. It runs through Steam on Windows; on Steam Deck and Linux it works via the Proton compatibility layer — check the exact compatibility status on the game's Steam page before launch.
Other games in the Darksiders series
If Fury clicks with you, the series has three more Horsemen and a prequel. Check out Darksiders Warmastered Edition (War's story, where it all began), Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition (Death's adventure, the largest in content) and Darksiders Genesis (a top-down prequel about War and Strife). Together they form one apocalypse-wide story.
The purchase in short
Pick Standard — you get the game. Pick Deluxe — the game, the soundtrack and both DLCs. Provide your invite link and region, pay, accept the gift in Steam, and Darksiders III is yours. No subscriptions, no strings: this is a full purchase you own outright.
